What do you losers think ? Which one is better, more accurate for 100m/110 yrd shooting – and why ?

I had one a very long time ago , and yes it was a very nice gun , what one in those days you would call a saddle gun . A great short rifle for dear
hunting in thick woods . My was a 30/30 , can’t remember what scope I had on it and I took my fair share of Muleys’ with it as well as other
critters . It was a great gun and held 15 rounds in it and if I remember right it was modeled after the 1876 Model and that was over 40 yrs. ago .

Never shot those old Winnies . Good rifles ??

That’s my opinion / experience anyway.

Or old American made Winchester’s…………….

Really ? Never thought about that …

Hey, that’s not a fair comparison. The air rifle projectile has to travel further to get there.

Ok. But a good .22 LR with a good shooter will outshoot the AG man. Every time.
That’s a fact. The .22 LR bullet , as bad ballistics as it may have , still has better ballistics compared to any pellet. And when a good . 22 LR rifle ( read : European made ) , with right ammo and skilled shooter does what excepted the AG guy will be beaten – quite easily too.

To me it is a no contest. Air gun all the way. If there is minimal wind that is. I was shooting my Bobcat yesterday and there wasn’t much wind if any at all. I got a 5 shot group at 100 yards all pellets touching. I don’t have to wear any hearing protection, and Air guns are cheaper to shoot. Just more fun for me all around. Plus I enjoy the challenge. I good air gun with a good shooter running it will be on par or better than your average 22lr shooter.

.22lr with a good ammo lot beats the air gun hands down at 110 yards! :5:

Yep,

Airguns can be very accurate but a little fart of wind and all accuracy can go down hill fast out to 100 yds.

I forgot the Uncle factor ..

Well Hell Coach, a few specifics please! Animal, veg, mineral, perhaps paper or plastic. Better at what? I have long been fond of the venerable M79 grenade launcher with an HE or WP pay load. Since this is an airgun forum, I am voting airgun. Plus Uncle Hoot says he will smite any swing dick who who who says otherwise!
