The HDD defiantly dose it’s job!
I decided that there was just no way I could live with the gap on the shroud I built, so I built another that is 2 inches shorter with the relief cut for the tube the proper size, it is just as effective as the first but looks 1,000% better, in fact it came out good enough for me to call it a keeper and give it a coat of paint.
I also went ahead and bought one of Steve’s HDD’s from AOA, they shipped it out to me the same day and being so close I had it the next day, now that is what I call service!
here is a short sting with the HDD installed shooting cp’s (14.3grain) at 85*, after 30 shots and I was still well over 550fps I decided there wasn’t any reason to continue for its clear it’s doing it’s job and working just fine.

The next thing I will do to it is open up the barrel port and install the poly transfer tube.

I know what you mean, I was defiantly having a moral dilemma about getting one, but there aren’t any others out there and it looks as if it will pay for it’s self in no time, it did feel a bit better giving my coin to AOA instead of it going directly to Steve 😆
That looks great. Once you get the smell of Asshole off the HDD you will be all set 😆

That is a definate plus, I’d say you have a 200% increase on efficiency, good job!
