There is a big difference between made in china and having it made in china.

Here is the deal. We airgunners aren’t so much assholes as we are a couple of guys with some “GENERAL” knowledge. We have all HEARD and SEEN a lot. There have always been the “BADDEST” guns on the planet or the gun that, “i just got it………more details soon to come” or, the “most accurate gun i’ve ever owned or seen” or, “the most powerful big bore” and the TITLES go on and on. So when you started your post by saying its the “HOTTEST” valve you’ve ever seen………………”WE” common folk expect some hard core numbers to back it up. You simply listed a GOOD TITLE with a link to a price.
THAT SEEMS AWEFULLY FISHY to many of us. I honestly can’t keep up with all the new JOE BLOWS that make airgun parts or repair airguns or that sell airguns. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? What’s their history?
Our very own DOUG posted TONS of pics as well as posted FPS numbers while he made progress. People could follow along with his accomplishments and he answered EVERY question promptly. So he developed TRUST.

A lot of fools don’t realize how hard it is for us to be that polite.
When I see these advertisers come on here with eye catching
topic titles and obviously getting paid for any clicks on their rip off
web site that are tracked from here, I get really burning mad.
Money wasted on those unwelcome advertisers is money stolen

The ah advertiser didn’t respond to any of my comments but

If our politicians would pull their heads out if China’s ass and impart import tariffs then the playing field would be even.
Most things they make are pretty good quality. The problem with them is they are not consistent due to shit quality control and They don’t have ‘specialists’ making any one product.

Its interesting, but I’m a data junkie on anything that requires hard earned coin from me.
I would never buy that valve BECAUSE its made in China, but that’s me.
I like to own fine things from American craftsman that turn out awesomeness in their shops or garages in their spare time.
That’s why I own 2 builds that started with RJ Machine breeches. If you don’t know, don’t bother asking. 😉
I am curious though – is it Hot like Paris Hilton ‘Thats Hot!’………..or do you have some amazing Chronograph numbers?

I built 2 guns off of forums. I have almost $600 into my 13xx and $1200 into my 22xx.
I NEVER would have sent any of these machinists/parts makers a single dime having never met them if I hadn’t followed them for months watching their posts and consistency in responses.
The data is HUGE! I’m not buying a part unless it is proven to meet my build specifications and those numbers need to come not only from the Guy who makes them, but backed up by one or more non biased peopled who have used their parts.
Like I said – I will only buy quality. Otherwise, I will just buy a manufactered (fill in the blanks) and leave it as purchased.
I like building one of a kind items or those that hit crazy performance numbers.
I’ve seen and heard enough and personally talked to Doug to the point I wouldn’t hesitate to send him a money order.
If we enthusiasts don’t support our local guys making parts they will go away. I’ve already seen a few elite parts makers throw in the towel for one reason or another.
Without thorough data documentation you may as well try and sell the newest more improved loaf of sliced bread.
