The Rapid has arrived
I arrived back from work to find the brown box leaning against the front door….Glad it was there,
because I wasn’t home, I was afraid it would need to be signed for and the UPS man would have to
make another trip tomorrow…It was quite a battle deciding whether to go to work or stay home and wait for the gun to arrive. 😀
I scoped it up with a Nikko Stirling Diamond 10-50X60mm and got it sighted…Was very windy and
the wind direction was changing 360 degs as it tends to do in my little spot of heaven….I know it is
close but will need some tweaking when I get a calm day….Here are shots of the new addition.
I am sure it looks pretty much like every Rapid you have seen before….

I broke out the Chrony and here are the numbers
3,200psi fill shot down to 2,300psi ending

I am quite pleased with the ES and SD even though it is not the best I have seen….The FPS is
outragious but seems to be dead on at 65yds. It was difficult to tell exactly how accurate the
16.0gr JSB’s were but by all indications this is going to be a shooter with some major power….. I
wanted to try some different fill pressures to reduce the ES but nature had a different idea as it
started to rain just as I was finishing the second string….

I think the Brits aren’t quite as rough on things as we are!
