Thinking of makeing stock like this for Condor

Lupii,
Well what you have done is stop all frame flex using a full length stock, it is one of the reasons the Maddog stocks, altho uglier than a bucket load of assholes, made the AF line shoot better, much better.
I have the Maddog half stock and it does a pretty good job, but because it does not support the tank, it is still some what hold sensitive.
Your stock, like I say, in conjunction with Tony’s off set adapter would be perfect for the bench or bipod shooter and if made of light weight wood wold solve a myriad of AF issues.
Pab,
BRRRrrrrttt. 😛

Dont have scale now available, but for me extra weight is no problem and actually i wanted the Condor to be heavier. I shoot only from bipod anyway 😛 I eaven get better results now with this stock. Dont know if its ergonomics or extra weight helping…
beautiful…
but i hope thats balsa or cork… 😯
Lupii that is nice work!
But since I warned you, I have to ask… how much does it weigh now?
As much as I hate to agree with the old fart, I agree. 😆
Great job, you have talent.
Now to give it the ultimate versatility, add one of Tony’s andgled tank adapters to that rifle and lower the tank in the stock.
To me personaly, anything that tries to change the ergonomics of the AF design without moving that tank away from your face simply does not work.

You did a nice job on that.
I must say, I KNOW you put many hours into that, Nice job!
Have been working on it for some time now. Its not exactly the shape that I intended at beginning but I like it. As this Is my first ever wood work all done by my self I started with beech wood as cheap and easy to work in.
It still needs a lot of sandpaper work and will be “painted” with wood stain to some darker color (probably brown or something darker closer to black to fit the looks of Condor). But it is already usable and I must say I love to shoot with it 😀

Its a stock from Theoben Vanquish Limited edition (in laminate) I just playd a little bit with graphic soft to see will it look nice as i love the way it looks on Vanquish.
I dont hunt and mostly shoot from bench or bipod so the extra weight will make it only more accurate (at least i think so).
I started project but with some light easy to shape wood. Will see how it comes out (thinking of “painting it to gray or smth like it). Then the second step will be to get some laminate like the one on picture and start carving it ;-). Once I will have anything to show will post some pictures 🙂
I like it.
I wouldn’t want to carry it around in the woods all day long.
Most of the time I shoot my rifles off a bench anyhow, and I wouldn’t mind the extra weight from that wood.
Looks nice Lupii never seen one like that! where did you find that at? Funny when I first looked at it looks like an owl on the stock! I like laminate stocks! have you started on your stock yet? if not keep us posted with pictures 😯 😯
hope you dont hunt, cause thatll be a definite motherfucker in the bush…
Nice!
I think it looks great, but its going to be HEAVY I guarantee it.
You don’t need anything that substantial under the bottle, and you can open up the forestock slots a lot from that design.

I recently also added (its not on the picture) weaver accesory rail at the front bottom of my stock that i use to attach my bipod. Will keep you updated with my progress 🙂
