thoughts on a side-cocker mod

i cant remember where i saw this mod, or who did it…i THINK it was here, but ive been unable to find it…it goes something like this…

there’s a metal tube or rod (not sure if its aluminum or steel) w/a hole drilled into it to fit around the breech end of the barrel. there’s a hole drilled in the breech to fit the tube or rod, and the tube or rod (which is now the breech handle) is held in place by the barrel. of course a area is machined out so that the shooter can cock it…thoughts on this? is this confusing anyone? because ive talked to a few people and they cant picture it…

also, is there anything special about the breech externally? or does it pretty much look like a thick wall delrin tube from the outside? im wondering because id like to have the new side-cocker operate a little like a bolt action rifle, though there wont be too much upwards movement, just enough to clear the bolt groove… again, thoughts?
