Q:

Trigger Guard/AR15 combo and frame flex

I finished up a run of the new T/G Combo today and got them powder coated.

What I found out is when installed it significantly reduced frame flex of the Talon/Condor frame. I was able to test it by using the laser and watching for the laser movement while looking through the scope. Normally if you shoulder or grip the gun to firm you can visually see the laser dot move while viewing through the scope. With the T/G Combo installed I could not get the laser dot to move unless significant pressure was applied. So I am pretty happy with that.

It is milled out of a single bar of 6061 aluminum and then given a baked on hard matte black powder coat finish.

Here are some picts. If anyone is interested in the next run just PM me.

Adam I am assuming this doesn’t bolt on but with the extra material by the grip helps stiffen up things good . Just a note for some guys that will be getting this I posted in on General Chat the other day Midway USA is having a sale on Houge AR15 grips so here is a good reason to get a new grip!

Looks sweet Adam.

Should go great on the .25 Tony is making for me.

Now go get those screws and washers and mail mine out 😆

I just picked up about $20 worth of stainless steel bolt and washers to install on them.

They they are getting packaged up and sent out this week. 😉

Tony plus Wok works great for me !!!! About 1,000 pellets thru it !!!!

Plus I get to use a lefty grip

Oh ya!!! What’s the weight on the adapter WOK? I can’t wait to get rid of this small AF grip!!!!

Great work as usual Adam…..Keep em coming.

Thanks Adam, I really wanted to use it on the 18″ .22 I love the wide forearm on my .25 (it sits on sand bags so nicely).

Question: which rifle, considering the variables in each, will benefit most from WOK’s “Frame Flex Killer” one piece????

1) 24″ AAA condor shooting surefires 7 rings @ 100 fpe with a custom wood stock (forearm has two points of contact, not one like the stock codor foregrip)

2) 18″ stock .22 condor

The reason I am asking is I have to decide which rifle I will put my new WOK one piece on. I want to use it on the shorter 18″ .22 as I wanted to put my surefire light/grip combo in front of the shorter stock fore grip.

HOWEVER, if my more powerful AAA .25 will benefit much more from it than the shorter .22…then I might have to go back to the “drawing board”

Please advise????????????????????

Many thanks!

The set up you have planed for the 18″ sound pretty good. Stick it on there and just don’t Gorilla grab your rifles and you will be fine.

Very nice, does the grip come with the AR mod? If not what and where? Im digin the one in your Pics.

You get to buy your own grip 😀

The Hogue is popular and available online and on ebay usually.

I tested it some more today and it works well and feels great. It provides rigidity to the frame and the frame flexion does not become an issue unless undo pressure is applied. Much more rigid then the stock frame alone.

As always it is important to cradle the rifle and let it “Rest” in your arms while shooting. The Trigger Guard Grip combo helps when held a little to snug 😀
