Tuning Edgun 22 to 20fpe!!!
Well now that I’ve got the 25 long set at 50fpe and it’s my primary hunter I’ve been debating what I can do to expand usefulness of my 22 long.
Well Jim C in Sacramento is starting a Field Target shoot at Sacramento Valley Shooting center in Ione CA , Sun Nov 3,
9am-3:30pm and it’s limited to 20fpe.
So for those of you that shoot field target with an Edgun 22 how far down did you have to turn reg?
I’ve got 50k JSB 18s on the shelf so I’ll be sticking with that pellet obviously and will need to get gun down to 700fps to hit 20fpe mark. Any input?

I done it with the Cricket .22 18 to 20fpe. reg set at 100B with a weaker spring. if I was going do it on the R3 .22—I would start at 100B and see if I can adjust the HST to get 18 to 20FPE and test for accuracy at 18 and 20 fpe and see witch speed has a tighter group. on the cricket 18.5 FPE was more accurate then 20FPE using 18.1g.
