Hi peeps
felix the one you pictured is the newer version than the one i linked the walnut one i have is the same as the one in your link.
Powderburner , no sir you cant load manually unless your a ambidextrous 8 fingered midget lol

I dont know if anyone else on here has both guns but unfortunatly i wont be doing a shot comparrison at 100 meters for several reasons the main one being that im in the uk and 12 ft lb is the legal limit so im screwed before i even try.
And as i said in the first post i wont compare them against each other in any way as i do not want to offend any of the makers both of wich use this forum .
I know wich i prefer and for what reasons there is no dout in my mind what so ever wich is the better gun allthough both have ideas that would work on the other and make the final product even better, with the 2 (5 lol ) rifles in front of you its easy to see whats what.
I think i mentioned the rifles belong to my boss but i have bragging rights 😀 so until he says different i wont be doing a back to back review sorry folks.
PS. just in case there was any confusion the kalibre is a 14 shot rotary mag not a semi auto, as again sadly even on air rifles they are illegal in the UK.

Say, can you load pellets one at a time , doesn’t look like your could.

If I remember corectly the end of the air tube slides out to expose the fill port and then slides back to cover it when shooting.
I love the fact that the barrel is farther away from the air tube to make room for that fat shroud.
I prefer the cricket over the Edgun because of those two advatages and the multi shot is a plus.
Hopefully Ed will incorporate them into the edgun.

Wow. That just don’t sound right.

The vendor site is kalibrgun.ru. I can’t find the exactly same Cricket model on their website if i compare with the picture that i’ve posted here on the forum.

I’ve heard that they want to sell their guns out of Russia in a near future.

I’m really curious. Beat the EdGun Matador in terms of accuracy is, IMO, difficult since it is very near of the perfection. But if they can equal the same accuracy and provide a finishing like the picture here above + the semi-auto then i’ll sumarize in 3 letters: WoW !

Ed really needs to get on the stick with his semi auto kit! if the Edgun had what that cricket has I would be done looking 😯 😯 Remember I said done looking NOT BUYING!!!! LOL!!! that is a very neat set up did anyone mention the price! did I miss that?

Where can I get one?

Paul

man those things look pretty good, lets see a test group between the two or just a test group from that one

Hi,

I really like the finishing of this cricket. I don’t know if this is a stock one… probably not if i compare with the two models proposed (stock walnut & synthetic).

I’m really waiting for a comparison between the Matador and the Kalibr. A test shooting group at 100 meters would be great.

Akimbo/Dual Wield…

😆 Reminds me of the scene in Tropic Thunder.

Side by side PHOTOS… 😉

That looks awesome!!

I was talking about the one with the walnut stock that was linked above… 😉

I think the EdGun looks better personally, the Cricket looks like too long of a bullpup for it to be a bullpup. But I have never seen them side to side.

Lyndon, side by side shots?!?!? 😀

actually the cricket is 1″ shorter than the r3 matador (medium) prob 2lb lighter and has a air cylinder about 3 mm wider not sure how that affects shot capacity at the moment , it feels a lot smaller than the matador , and like i said im not compareing them anymore than that (unless i get a free one lol) that 4 magazine clip in the butt stock is genius though 14 shot mags thats 70 shots ready!

i am sure most of you on this forum know what the walnut cricket looks like and i didnt have time to take a pic so the boss took this on a phone .
thats my arm with the hippy bangle that is lol
