Using PVC for a shroud
Instead of metal, could I use PVC? How would I keep the washers still in there?

Should the pipe go over the frame, or the other way around?
I tried it and it likes to curve when it gets the shot of air into it…
Your accuracy will suffer from the bending when you shoot, I also found that 1″ OD is not the right size which throws things off center if not shimmed perfectly…
Give it a try though, its worth the time to test it out and see what you get…
So I should be using a pipe that can fit into the frame of the gun? How long should it be?
What is usually done is there is a piece that extends into the frame (1-2″) replacing the endcap. Just drill a tiny dimple in the PVC for the original grub screw to hold onto and it’ll stick on pretty tight.
And what is the best way to connect the external shroud to the end of the Talon SS?

Just be sure your piece of PVC is straight.
Sounds simple, but PVC pipe is rarely perfect.
Find a flat surface and roll the tubes slowly. You will see the curves in them.
Yes, and springs or another pipe/PVC of just slightly smaller OD than the exterior tubes ID. I like using a small diameter spring and wrapping them with a felt material so they fit snugly and centered in the tube. Adds to the dust collecting effectiveness.

Joolyen,
If you do not make the shroud perfectly the pellet can clip a baffle send it out the side of the shroud and severly injure or kill someone.
You might want someone who knows how to do precise work build one for you.
