Valve Swap & Dielectric Grease Question…
I am going to pull a Talon valve from it;s tank and replace it with a new Condor valve… Is there anything special for getting the existing valve out? I have metalhead’s valve wrench so grabbing the valve is easy… Do I need heat, or possibly Conan…? 😆
The note with the valve says use dielectric grease on the new valve, is this necessary if it’s from a tank that just had a valve in it?

I don’t have a big vise, I brought mine bottle to a friend shop and use his vise 😆 😆 😆
At later time, I know another guy from paintball refill station, he got all the tools included a large vise, he installed reg, remove valve, foster, gauge for me free 😆 😆 😆
I have The Tool!!! 😉 I wouldn’t think of taking a valve ot of a tank without it!!! 😯
Looks like I am going to have to get a bigger vise this weekend… 😕
If you have the following tools below, it will make your life easier 😆 😆 😆
Big vise that can hold the bottle.
rubber matte to wrap around the bottle before lock in down on a vise and prevent scratch/marks on the bottle.
Valve tool, I got it from Metal Head and we has a few posts somewhere here.
tape the valve with any type of tapes to prevent scratch on the valve. if you don’t have the valve tool, I think you can also use the long Adjust Pipe Wrench and protect the valve with small rubber around it, that should do the job too.

synopsys, when I swapped valves I just hand tightened it when I put it back
on… I did this 10 or so times without any leaks or issues….
