I should get another one, lost my original in a fire….

I just order my 3 x15 SS. Ffp …

Swfa just keeps getting. Better…

I asked if they off vets a discount….. he said send me your credential and we’ll make a decision. .. sent my dd214.

So i got a nice cut on the scope :8: :8:

sounds like a good choice. lets see it when you get it Dman. Oaks sending me one of his SWFA scopes to test out. Should have it Thursday.

My .25 vulcan will be sporting the swfa 3×15 SS ffp :8:

Yes 16X is nice to have, until you shoot in a hot climate like out in Wyoming in July or August when the heat mirage is affecting your shooting. That’s when it’s nice to turn it down to 12X or lower.

Good choice!! 16x is better 12x is not enough.

Ordered the 16x swfa today I was torn between the 12 or the 16 hope I did good
The doves I want land about fro 70-130 yards away and I want to see pellet hits on targets at 100 yards so went with 16x
Now what mounts too get ? I would assume medium height but mount cost are all over the place lol

I haven’t handled the Vulcan tactical but it is still shorter than the .25 FX wildcat. I’ll bet it’s easier to shoot as well. Maybe I’ll do a scope review video for airguns where I can answer a bunch of questions at once…

Thx Key: i had been reading more about it over the last hour, think i will pick up a SWFA 16×42 when i order my Vulcan, just waiting trying to figure out if i want the Rifle or the Pup. I did like the cockling lever, and the mag pin on the pup. That combined with the LCD that I was going to put on it to silence down the .25 would of made it the same length, but i’m a sucker for whats new. Just waiting on Tony’s review. Don’t think i can lose either way right. Everyone around here loves the Vulcan and the Cricket.

Gin not true at all. For example the SWFA. 3-15×42 FFP will focus down to 6 meters. It depends on the maker. The vortex 2.5-10×32 will focus on paper 35 yards but actually at 2.5x it will focus down to 12 yards.

I sure as hell won’t be afraid to buy on Keyser’s word. I thank people like him for doing all the homework, trial and error………….now Oak on the other hand??

Thats when the Bottle comes in handy ….

quote Ginuwine:

I heard the problem with some FFP scopes is it won’t focus any closer than 50 yards (parallex). In my opinion it is really restrictive to an air gunner if this is true.

No problem at all. If i need to get real close i just back my magnification down till I’m happy. Mine will focus to anything i want to shoot at.

I just read a post that said that I think I ll get the 16x SWFA tonight

KEYSER knows his shit thats For Sure!!!!

I peeled out the cabbage ( 700$ ) for a vortex 3.5 x 10 FFP for my Mutant Shorty… on Keysers word and I’m quite happy with it.
