Vulcan 25 with heavies?
How does the Vulcan or Vulcan2 25 push jsb heavies? I’m wondering what FPS and if it stays accurate I’m really wanting a bullpup and trying to pick it or cricket. I know they are both accurate with 25grn, and I like the mid cock lever on the Vulcan.

Hes only an hour and twenty minutes from me. Nice little shop he has and you can walk out the door to test rifles. He plans on moving his shop into town after selling his property.

Dennis was an amazing person to meet, I had never talked to the man and within 10min he offered to take me to the house and start shooting. I didn’t want to be rude so of coarse I shot a few guns. I Think he would have been excellent for a new or younger shooter. I’m new to pcp but have shot for over 30yrs and he showed me some stuff on pcp I couldn’t quite figure out.
I have a local air Venturi dealer that I deal with, but is she wants a red wolf we will drive to bakers.

But I want a bullpup. So probably Vulcan2 in 25 for me and maybe a blue talon ss for her unless she buys the red wolf.

Dearest Zonk, I’m pulling for ya, I know you will fix the wayward Vulcan!! Hoot, what can be said, I hope all is well but hey he may be on a extended canoe trip or CIA op. I know I would not want to be cutting his lime jello cubes into perfect squares at the senior center.

Well I was all set to order the Vulcan 2 and came across a good deal on a nomad compressor….. so the gun will have to wait. Besides I have a 22 streamline to shoot and now I could go big bore or bottle gun. I still want the v2 in 25, and now the wife want a pretty gun, maybe a talonss or condorss in blue…..or red wolf!
Larry, speaking of Hoot, I did send him a email asking how he’s been and asked if all is well. As of yet I haven’t heard a word from him. I hope he’s doing well.
Larry, I’ve had mine out before with no problems and it was his idea to up the pressure. We didn’t drink any beer till later 🙂
Yes kris all looks good under the plate, nothing’s out of order there.
I even lowered the pressure to 130 bar thinking that the force of the hammer wasn’t hard enough. Who ever had this Vulcan before my buddy bought it had someone work on his reg. His initials and date and 140 bar was written on the valve.
Is the pellet probe going forward deep enough? What I mean in the hammer trigger area there is a Z shaped steel plate, maybe the hammer is hitting that with the screw on its side instead of the valve pin or something.
How long is the hammer spring you have got?
I did turn the reg down a little and same problems. Yes Greg air port is facing up into the barrel and air tube screws are seated into the air tube. May need Ernest’s two cents! I’ve had mine out several times and reinstalled with no problem.
