in instgram i saw a guy from Brazil who made a side lever and mag holder for his Vulcan 2016 .. also he’s selling his kits worldwide

I am sure LESS metal could achieve the same results and lessen your manufacturing costs!
Maybe send the price point downward to result in a higher sales volume.
I personally want to wait and see if this lever is as smooth and quiet as the plastic infused MKI version that people love as function but jeer at the materials.
Maybe the “third” attempt will be the charm?
I applaud this gentleman designer for his innovations.

Re lever is is the same size as the part plastic lever? Ie fixing point and lever handle, looks bulkier. Does it still use the locking pin to mount lever to the fixing block? Presumably locking pin system still needed as fulcrum cam obstructs machine screws being reinserted into fixing holes on gun. Finally how easy is it to remove? Locking pin extremely tight in housing on plastic model and required a considerable clout with a hammer to insert. Has anyone tried reversing process eg drifting pin out?

I like it being all metal, with no plastic at all. But that thing is bigger than the shift lever on my old YZ 250 dirt bike.

Looks BEEFY! How will it be finished? Just black spray Paint or anodizing or what?
Looks good, but can you “not paint” that Vulcan logo on the side metal? Looks a bit ghetto…

Look guys. Not biased on plastic or metal.
Yes it would be nice to see metal version painted up and somebody actually and independently useing same.
An evenings night shooting in difficult cold and damp evening recently the plastic version performed flawlessly. A talented engineer who was running the camera system that night witnessed it. After inspection of modification declared it a very acceptable and neat solution.
Do yourselves a favour just buy the composite/plastic one . IT WORKS. The side plate in composite/plastic was perfect.
The loading now is smooth and QUIET.
Composite material is lighter too.
Heck not long before we all have composite/plastic cars. Seen a F1 car lately???
