VULCAN picture thread…
Guys will be getting their Vulcan bullpups at last, time to start a picture thread.
I’ll start, post what cal you have and your number.

Unlike with regular-styled rifles, the balance point on bullpups is generally biased to the rear. The balance point of my Cricket is an inch behind the trigger guard. Because of this characteristic of bullpups, their muzzle tends to jump when they are fired. If your hold isn’t right, in addition to the muzzle jumping, it may move to the side as well. That’s why follow-through is very important along with trigger technique. Follow-through will enable you to observe the reticle’s movement pattern when implemented. Once you’ve done this, the next part is developing a hold technique that will enable you to counteract such movement during recoil. That is essentially the key to shooting any gun in my experience.
To start off, with respect to how I hold my Cricket, try applying no pressure at all on the pistol grip. Then, place your forestock hand close to its tip (forestock) and pull the whole rifle towards your shoulder firmly. :winkn:

Caiman are you saying the H&N are better than the JSB through the Vulcan? Don’t despair the Vulcan is hard to shoot.
Thanks to all you guys who can clearly shoot much, much better than I can posting your ridiculous groups, I was actually thinking that I had gotten a bad gun. Everybody else seems to regular group under a half inch at 50 yards or better. Me? More like a half inch at half that distance. Anyway I was feeling pretty down on the gun, even thinking about selling it and getting a *gasp* FX Bobcat. That is, until today when I competed in the Hunting Association of El Salvador’s 60m bench rest competition. I won with a score of 223 out of a possible 250. It’s possible that I could have improved on that had I been using JSBs instead of H&N Barracudas.
Now, for you guys this target probably doesn’t look like much, but I’m pretty happy about it especially since I’ve never shot bench rest before. Airgunning isn’t huge down here but there were 11 other competitors, some of whom had some pretty serious hardware– a Daystate, a Bobcat, an Air Arms field target gun, a few pimped out marauders and some condors among others.
One day I’ll be able to do half inch groups all day at 50 yards like everybody else on this forum.
My Vulcan should be here Wed. I kept my Atlas off my Bobcat to put on the Vulcan…
Nice! I have had bipod altas (copy) too but it was not practical on non level surface. So I switch back to my nice hbrms harris bipod 6 to 9 with notches 😛
I used accushot BT-33 rail
I had to use longer screws. I drilled through stock and put a 10/32 nut counter sunk into wood. Ain’t going anywhere

That .25 looks sweet! This wait is killing me! I see Tony got his new shipment of Vulcan so I have to assume Peter at Top Gun Airguns will have to be getting his soon too. He had said by the end of the month… 
How did you mount the rail, what parts were used?

Just messen with ya. Black synthetic would be nice for what I us it for. But I like the wood also. It’s nice just going to be extra careful

Yeah…..if I were to attempt to improve it I would find an antique dealer that dips furniture to remove old imperfect finishes and paint. But I don’t see anything about this stock that needs improvement. Oh hell, why not paint it with truck bed liner ❓
Does truck bed liner come in colors yet ❓ If you don’t like wood grain or black, maybe Neon Pink is your color of choice. :ugeekn:
PS: the black looks good and I’m glad to see someone else did it.

Forget the HN and other pellets. JSB’s and their branded AA,FX,EdGun and whatnot shoots way better.
