Waiting for his next meal – Excellent Hawk pics

This redtail hawk takes whatever I knock down. I no longer have to worry about something ending up in a neighbors yard. He removes it fairly quickly.

Funny though, he/she is very cautious and will sit on a branch and stare at the prey for a good 15-20 minutes before going down to the ground and picking it up.

Took the picture through my binoculars. (it wasn’t easy)
