I’m still running that 3in stock pice of shit…. just ruined the same pice twice due to that fucked up thing, and I’m all pissed off!!!! thinkin of stepping up to a 5in… and looking for everyones thoughts..

someone told me LMS just got a new container full of stuff….you might want to check again to see if its in stock
ya, I was thinking the same thing, that’s were I get all that type of stuff from, but it looks like it wont be back in stock for another month
I did find this one tho, looks like I’d have to get the adaptor from lms, it seems to be the same one but I’m not positive that it is..

the main problem i’m having with it is there just isn’t enough clamping surface (or power?) on the jaws, turning a part is no problem but parting it isn’t working with out the live center in the pitcher, and some of the parts are just too small to have it engaged. I’m thinking of mounting a one inch sanding disk into the tail stock and sanding the jaws a bit to get some extra grip out of them, what do you think about this idea, would it help or hurt?
I would not venture to buy from anyone else.
They specialize in these little machines and anyone else probably would sell you the wrong thing.

I use the 5″ 3 jaw and love it. The hole is much bigger and it can hold stock much better
Get rid of that 3″ chuck and you will not regret it

U can do that but then it will only be accurate at one inch. What I did was cut 3 little groves seems to be ok bit make sure there are no burrs. Or just make way smaller cuts.
