Q:

What do we do to pay the bills?

I drive a mixer truck for a company called Cemex. Also, I occasionally haul a fuel tanker for another company. What do you do?

Whats the biggest lift you have made?
Whats the biggest machine you have run?
I, once got to run a 100 ton manatwoc

35 years ago I Was clamshell dredging in a harbor. hooked into something solid on the bottom of the harbor. Before I could toggle the lifting lines out, it broke the center pin on the Northwest model #7 i was running (the base of the crane was welded to a barge, so the crane would not tip.). Then there was nothing holding the crane down, and almost went into the water with the machine!

Lou wins “Coolest job” so far. I’m thinking about doing something different than driving a mixer. Construction won’t be coming back anytime soon.

I’m retired Heavy Equipment Operating Engineer, that sometimes has to jump back into the fray when they run short of Op’s. Crane operator is all I’ve ever wanted to do 🙂

^ that is the most Bad A$$ job ever!
