What do you guys shoot? Target/Paper, Hunt, Plink?!?!

Have you guys ever tried those small red plastic caps ?
Pretty cool, the usually come in revolver type 8 in a circle, I cut them to individual, then set them in my duct seal, makes a pretty loud pop when you hit them.

i just got back from shooting my toaster lol you should have put that in your topic…it’s because it broke i figured i’ll shoot it. I love seeing the pellets damage after you shoot, one of em even landed in a bucket of water near by.

No Tony, had enough round’s pass my head, might go dirty harry on them, lol.
I usually go for the red Squirell since they are always in season here, but I’m not prejudice I will kill anything in season even if it can’t be eaten, and is not armed. If the squirells get the AK’s I’ll quit. lol.
Never new airifle hunting was such a chalange. Have’nt used a fire arm since I got the condor, wish I had one as a kid.

Up Nort’ it’ll be used to shoot at anything that looks like it needs a hole punched in it. That includes sparrows and starlings (only non-protected birds I can shoot), squirrels in season, and pine cones, leaves, small rocks, and anything else that happens to cross in front of the scope.
It’s gonna be a LONG week! 😥
I’m waiting on a .25, what caliber did you go with?

just hot glue the chip to the end of stick and the stick em in the ground or snow or staple stick to tree or fence post they shatter when hit and are a small target for long range fun to shoot and cheap

even cheaper than that i have like 10 ice trays and i fill em up and line the cubes on the deck railing no mess to clean up just have to shoot em befor the melt a drop of food color and you can see em great, i use radiator leak detector and then put up a black light aiming at em and have a nice easy to see night target 😈
That’s a great idea if one has temps whee the ice cubes will last a bit! Closest thing that guys do out here is if they have clay soil at their houses, they will form clay targets, let them bake in the sun then set em up as exploding targets!

I try to shoot at least a tank of air a day thru it.
Here in about a month, the GS population will explode and my wife wont see much of me. I had 20+ squirrel days last year, hope to repeat that again this time.
All the practice has made me a better shot. 😉

Mainly paper targets. Shot a crow with the 177 with my RWS but now feel more confident with the TSS in 22 cal. Didn’t realize you were in Oakland. I’m in Redwood City. Hope to see your rigs in person the next time you go hunting or in competition.
If I have someone to shoot with I prefer paper; I enjoy the competition. If no one’s around then I like to hit the woods and shoot a squirrel or two. It’s fun and relaxing plus I actually like to eat them. But, when it comes to shooting at a live creature, nothing beats a long shot, clean kill, on a crow! I figure for every crow I kill, that’s a number of song birds I save. Plus, they’re so damned smart it’s almost spooky!
Mine won’t be here for a week, but it’ll be used for paper in the back yard. And swinging targets and silouettes, also in the back yard.
