What does one expect from a brand new. 25 cricket
What is the typical speed gun should be shot at for ragged hole accuracy at 50 yards. What pellets perform the best. Is there any break in period for the barrels.

That’s the European version. Keep shooting it and it will look rounder at some point. 😆
Right! At least it can be send back to get it fixed. Irritating nevertheless … 👿
A new gun (or a gun inside the Warranty period) with issues = back to dealer it goes.
Yes I told my friend send it back. All you are doing is wasting time and pellets. Plus getting more and more agitated about it. But who wants to send a gun back but you gotta do what you got to do.

Cool, sounds like a easy fix then….

How does one go about fixing a clipping shroud?
If the shroud is faulty as delivered you´ll get a new one thru the dealer you bought it from. Warranty item. If you´ve used the shroud as a night stick or – God forbid – as a sex toy and bent it by doing so you need to buy a new one. If it´s just clipping due the baffle holes not being exactly centered you can drill them baffles using .5 mm larger long drill. It´s probably best to just get a new one thru warranty.
The shroud didn’t cost me a dime. The shroud was a factory shroud and it was slightly bent as it would wobble a bit when unscrewing it.
Gun shoots a ragged 5 shot hole at 50 yards.

How much did the new shroud cost? Was it the stock shroud or a nc?

Sounds exactly like clipping. And someone suggested loose barrel mount screws. Those shouldn’t be overly tightened though. That can force the barrel out of center -so to say. The whole scope bridge must be loose when you install the barrel so it doesn’t bind and twist the barrel. And once centered it doesnt need to be tightened down with a Gorilla grip.

We were using 2 kinds of pellets. One was lubed and the others were not but I don’t know if they are from the same JSB kings tin.
He had a CF shroud from Neil and sent it back as it had problems. I am almost convinced its the shroud but can’t see anything clipping in the front. When I hear it firing front 60feet it almost looks like you can hear pellet hit shroud but maybe gun pings alot. I would say it sounds different than mine but didn’t compare them side by side. I just put on new shroud for my 22 and its shooting fantastic. But I knew it was clipping and could see it in the front. But this gun looks like it had the same pattern like mine. Another thing is he can’t see any spiraling pellets from his gun with slow motion camera. Mine looked like a pitcher out of the major league throwing curve balls
