They were called “HiFlo” valves from the start. As it states clearly in the article from 3 years BEFORE the 2008 version was released…
Even the new valve comes standard with the Condor… So therefore it is also the standard Condor valve aka HiFlo…
Problem really is AF doesn’t really know their own products, they have given me bogus information several times. After all they insisted the old Condor valve “worked perfectly” and then took it off the market and replaced it with a new one that worked.
The newer valves have a brass insert that has grooved notches instead of just round holes.
Read the 2005 article to see just how wrong the information you have been fed actually is… Just because someone at AF told you what they think is the way it is doesn’t mean they know what happened…
It took me exactly two seconds to find a reference to a HiFlo valve before 2008, if you want to ignore that pesky little fact that is your prerogative. The FACT is the Condor valve has been called the HiFlo valve since the beginning. 😉
Well, I have been reading here since ’07 even though I am not posting as much as you. People always called them standard Condor valve for the older ones, or hi-flow valve for the newer ones which are also slightly different externally when looking at them. When I called Air Force a few weeks ago to purchase some parts, they asked me if I have the hi-flo valve or the standard one on my Condor. We even have pics here comparing the “newer” (early 2008) hi-flo valve with the standard Condor valve. Yes Condor valves have always been “high flow” because they discharge more air than Talons, but I have a Condor with a non hi-flo valve that is modified. Even the AF rep on the phone called it “standard” Condor valve.
Also many vendors and even Air Force up until a few months ago sold both the Condor “standard” tank and the hi-flow tank seperately. They only sell 1 valve/tank now for the Condor, and of course that is the latest hi-flo one. They no longer make the other one.
cool… yeah idk if i want to do that just nevr had the time to do anything custom to my talon. i mainly try to work on my condor… (im selling my talon at the moment) rite now im try ing to find a good shroud for my condor…
Besides the frame the only difference is the valve and a hammer weight. Barrels can be swapped one for the other.
I added a Condor valve and hammer weight to my TalonSS and got the same velocity as a Condor set up… 😉
im guessing thats wat sepperates a talon from a condor????? the hi-flo valve

Col, Harry is posting bad information… Condor valve has always been “HiFlo”…
got it…. ill just stick to the stock valve for now.. it sounds like the best option
If you have a 25 you use the HiFlo condor valve…
Sure the Talon valve will get the pellet out of the barrel but it will only hit 800-900fps…
AF doesn’t make any valve specific to any pellet, you can use whatever you want, shit you could use a micro meter tank with a 25 cal barrel for extremely low velocity shots… A condor valve works with a talon hammer…
PS you forgot the 20 cal pellet…

The Condor (hi-flo) valve is the same for .22 & .25, and also for the .177 w/only differnce being the valve spring between .177 and .22 as people already mentioned. AF does not make a valve specific to the .25. That’s what I was told when I called Air Force a few weeks ago. The reason it is called hi-flow is to differentiate it from the older “standard” (pre-2008) Condor valves.

I was getting about 1010fps average with a tophat setting at 0.088″ with 30 grain 25cal pellets. Power wheel at 8/1. 24″ barrel.
yeah ive been messing with that… the top hat is a quite sensitive thing.. in my opinion. its hard to find the right place for it in accord with the power wheel setting and other variables…

I am not wrong, and I did not say you were wrong. I am basically saying that once the new version valve came out 3-4yrs ago, most of us here called the older valve “standard”, and the new one with the brass plate and horse-shoe shape notches “hi-flo”, to differentiate the two. Some people also call it “old valve” when referring to the older ones, and “hi-flow” when referring to the post-2007 version.
