Q:

What gun is better than this?

What’s a better springer, for that price, comparing the power/accuracy?

It looks really good but I think the rws 34 will be fine because for that price I may as well get a talon, it’s got a 45 pound cocking effort too

Go with the HW90.

yeah i’ll take the rws34

I believe that AIr Venturi is the Pyramyd house brand for a Norica made gun. In other words…….you’re better off getting the RWS.

Does bother me when folks ask for advice and then dont take it. Some of us have been there. …

Hell… SOME of us have heard the old argument about the RWS34 vs the Gamo for a starter gun SO much that they bought BOTH guns and did a write up on them… ahem. Guess what? The RWS34 won. SOME of us even went a step further and TUNED the Gamo, added an aftermarket trigger to it… and guess what…? The RWS won.

Bottom line is the Spanish/Chinese guns are great… if you simply CANNOT afford anything else, or you love to polish turds. Otherwise, go with a proven, quality gun.

that’s going to Lama when he graduates university

I’d stick to this Venturi.

Yeah it just looked the same for cheaper but that Air Venturi is a new company so who knows lol it says they’re a family runned business from Mexico, that’s when you start to wonder. 🙄

German made for a little over $200 or a Chinese rifle to save $70 is a false economy. Whats it gonna cost you when that Chinese rifle develops a problem and you need to replace it?

It’s not chinese it’s from mexico! 😆

Rule of thumb-
Always buy the very best you can afford.

I hear a volcano on the hood can up the horsepower by at least 25%… 😆

I’d spend a couple extra bucks for the better one, you’ll regret going cheaper, i’ve done that route with a few items I wished I hadn’t… 😉

Yeah i’ll take a look at that. My friend also showed me this
http://www.pyramydair.com/p/avenger-1100-spring-piston-air-rifle.shtml

if you look at the reviews, everyone loves it, its 70$ cheaper then the rws 34 and it doesnt show anywhere that it’s cheaper, it’s made of wood.

Canadian dude, because it’s made of wood doesn’t mean it’s quality is on par with every other wooden rifle.

This is where myths and such get started-
I have synthetic guns and wooden guns.
All of my wooden guns out shoot my synthetic guns.
The wood will make it shoot straighter and stronger…,
Likewise, myth’s also abound in other areas, such as cars, etc.
After I applied the flames to the sides of my car and hood, it wound up with close to 100 more horsepower. Many people do not realize the power of the stickers. Yeah, some work better than others. Just be careful, too much HP all at once and it can get dangerous. It is best to apply one sticker, take it for a drive, apply another one, take it for a drive, etc, etc…, ya don’t want to get hurt, LOL!!

That’s nothing. Those carbon fiber hoods are good for at least 132 more horsepower and 3 ft lbs of torque.

I love it when people ask for advice and go with whatever anyway.

That rifle is probably fine… probably. Thing about those reviews is those guys are probably going from a Daisy 760 and have never shot a “real” rifle so to them its an awesome step up.

I’ve bought several chinese, spanish etc rifles and I dont own any at the moment but have English, German and Americans still.

I’d have saved myself a LOT of money if I’d only bought them to begin with.

lol im just gonna go with the reviews and get it
