Q:

What mods for new Condor?

Condor beginner here.
What mods can i do to my new .25 cal condor with 24″ barrel?
What can i mod for power and accuracy? What do i need to change to mount a (vented or normal) shroud? What else is do i need (gear and pellets recommendations), besides refill adapter and scope.
What options are there for going bigger caliber wise?

Thx for all your input

I don’t know if you can buy a “Trigger group” already polished and setup from Tony. The shroud, yes you can and it’s simple to install. Get his vented bushings too. (Or vent your own)HTH

You can’t do the internal baffle mod on a condor (that’s for a TSS) and the shroud simply replaces the tapered end cap that’s on your gun already…as far as the hammer slap mod I’m not a fan but that’s entirely up to you…Greg

trigger from tony yes. silencer, hammer slap mod and intenal baffel mod. should be nice and quiet then.

Damn the Condor is a blast to shoot (done the polishing) (my first 1000 pellets gone). Looks like my Condor likes the Kodiaks. I don’t know about the trigger, i might order Tonys (whats the price?). Next on my list is the shroud. Do i need to do something on the barrel or what has to be done to attache the shroud and where do i get one?

I know enough to know I don’t know enough to mess with the trigger assembly. But Tony did a trigger tune(part of his full tune) on mine and the difference is incredible. Are you doing the work yourself or having it done for you?

For pellets :remember Kodiaks, Crosman in the box, and JSB’s, sometimes the light ones, like the Crosman are to light, and you may not want to buy them, because of them going supersonic.

Brand new?

Fill it up and shoot at least a couple hundred pellets. After that, you’ll know what you do and don’t like. Then you can modify it to your liking. 😀

X2 shoot it and learn what it likes and dosnt…..going bigger is a little tough since .25 is about as big as you can go with the stock breach and top hat setup that these guns use…a new breach and top hat are custom parts that you would need made for you. So their would be some trial and error involved in that process..aside from all that the only thing I can say you will want for shure is a quality shroud to keep the bark down on your new toy so you don’t get too much unwanted attention from the neighbors….Greg

The Condor is brand new out of the box, so no mods jet.
Will do the polishing tomorrow, thx tatsumi.

has the rifle got any mods as it stands now?

first thing i would say is polish the barrel on the breach end to the barrel bushing or the lot if you have time on your hands and swap out the o-rings in the breach if its not new. makes for a very nice cocking action action then polish the trigger assembly. if you’ve not stripped one before then by the time you’ve done these you will know how to do most of it.

bags of help here so take it step by step 😀
