Q:

where to spend $1800???

i have a friend who really wants to buy my Freedom Arms .454 Casull revolver with a B&L Elite 2×7 scope( my tried and true hog killer). He will pay $1800 and I am considering selling it to him and using the money to get a really nice air gun. If you had that much money to buy what you wanted( without going much over that), what would you buy and why? My 2 criteria are power AND quietness, although I am willing to sacrifice a little more noise for power. give me some suggestions and reasons for your suggestions please. Also, don’t figure in the cost of a scope in the total purchase- i have several that will work. Thanks a lot.

You can always go for the Daystate Air Ranger, they come in .22 and .25 upto 80ft/lb of awesome power.

But it has to filled to 250 BAR, at 230 BAR its already doing 83 ft/lb, its a beuty but a little more expensive.
Also has a 500cc Tank.

Naser

FX semi-automatic revolution ,or a Tony tuned .25 condor.

The FX because its semiauto , fast as you can pull the trigger @ 32 footpds.

TT .25 for sheer power and dick waveing . It’s a fucking killer

the FX monsoon’s …. well all the FX’s are nice guns

the Air Arms are sweet too.

The .25 cal. long Matador is $1895. Tell your buddy that you have to have $1895 for the Casull!

Mine was set to shoot the Kodiaks at 984fps. That works out to 66.02 fpe.

The only .25 cal air gun that I have seen shoot better 100 yard groups is a BSA that was tuned by JB. A guy named Harry owns it, he is on the Yellow all of the time.

Jack Haley .308 then get a moderator for it 250fpe and quiet

On the Air Arms gun, the “s” does not not stand for side lever cocking mechansim…S410SL is the side lever ,,the S410 is actually called S410RB, for rear bolt cocker…I know this for fact, since I have an S410RB….with $1800.000 I’d go for the S510SL Xtra FAC….latest and greatest offering from Air Arms. I am TOTALLY and THOROUGHLY impressed with my AIr Arms gun, serious air gun !!!
There IS the .25 cal AF CONDOR though, that is awesome power and ready to go right out of the box-if you prefer the tactical-X look 😀

You’re gonna sell your Freedom Arms revolver? Are you sure?

Our pal Cygnus X had enough problems with his .25 Rapid that he calls it his Crapid.

Tofaz4u has a Rapid that has been tuned with a hi flow valve that yields 950 fps with a 31 grain Kodiak projectile! That’s very attractive but it may have been substantially more than $1800.

Some guys love their AirWolf rifles.

You can’t go wrong with an AirArms .22 caliber S410, (S is for side lever cocking mechanism).

Of course, there is the .25 Marauder. It is doing 850 fps with the 31 grain Kodiak, the same as Cyg’s Crapid. Mine, and many other .25 Marauders, are great air rifles…and it’s cheap compared to any of the above.

I haven’t heard anything bad about Tony’s AAA .25 Condor. It is shear, raw power and it is accurate.

Mam really likes his .25 Edgun, again power and accuracy. (the Edgun does have a regulator.)
Good luck, let us know what you settle on. 😀

If you want power + quiet gun, I would suguest to get the AAA Condor. This is the most powerful gun you could get for the price.

Not sure if you like the Bullpup style or not, if you do, get the .25 cal Matador long version.

If you don’t care about the bottle sticking out from the front, then Rapid or Royale will do it.

I personlly like the Matador .25 cal Long Verion, 1 does it all.

FX ROYALE

and the rest on scope and rings

already got 3 out of 4 and don’t need a scope.. what else?( this is a serious question but thanks for the response).

$500 on an AF gun
$500 on 3500pis 100cuft SCUBA tank
$200 on a high quality scope with AO
$600 on beer, pellets, sales tax, and gas.

i like that idea. the last thing i would ever do is spend that kind of money,THEN have to send it somewhere and spend more to get it shooting like it should be doing in the FIRST place.

AAA .25 Cal. with ALL the bells and whistles from Tony. Why? Because some of those other rifles mentioned cost as much and STILL need tuning. Tonys comes dialed in, ready to ROCK.

edgun and a tank

Theoben Rapid MFR (.177, .20, .22 or .25)
Air Arms EV2 (.177 12ftlb but can be modded)
Steyr LG-110 (.177 only)

In my humble opinion.

Jim

Edgun or a tuned condor from tony. Also a airarms s410 or the like. Airwolf just to name a few. In my dreams……………………..
