I’ve thought about this alot, and when I get one, I am going with the longer barrel, that little extra length should really be worth it, I want to advance, some what, past the 25 cal. I think you’ll find everyone likes the 75.5 grain bullets more, for accuracy, least that was what I thought.
I don’t want to bust anybody’s bubble but a condor valve is not going to push them very fast.
Most people get 850-860 fps with a ported condor valve and Jerry’s 7 rings(70-71gr) in a 24″ LW barrel. Now add 3+ gr of bullet.
You will get around 30 or so fps from the extra length of barrel but I think it will off set for the added weight.
Maybe if I have time I will put one of my ported stock condor valves in a tank. I can shoot a 74 gr 420 bullet sized down to .25070″ out of a TJ’s .25 and see what it does.
let me know when ya get it frank! I wanna see how it does. I am thinking of one for my condor as well but wanna see how it performs first!
