why all the AoA hate?
I’m moving over to here because if you don’t march to the yellow owner’s tune, you’ll get your post deleted or you’ll be banished.
In the last few weeks I’ve noticed:
-Thread about FX lowering it’s prices….deleted
-Poster complained about all the anti-FX and anti-AoA posts. His (or her) post….deleted.
I want to participate in a non-aligned forum, where all views are heard.
One question I have, why all the AoA hate? Is there a legitimate reason other than their jacking up prices on FX rifles? I’m asking here because I don’t believe all the propaganda over there. I hear the owner over there is an investor of Wild West, and I’m suspicious of an ulterior motive.

Every retailer in the USA gets there FX through AOA unless it is grey market. Grey market has no support from FX distributor

Yea, good luck with that! Hard to micro manage something that is slippery and hard to get hold of… I’m just sayin… You might want to look into some sub-dealer like Dirt E. Harry, or Precision Airguns (over on the GTA forum)… They do FX through some kind of arrangement… that at least would give you a buffer…

They went down hill the last few years. I got an Air Ranger from them and had good customer service about three and a half years ago. Even got to pick the stock. Now it is impossible to get to someone on the phone now and they aren’t too happy once you get them. I suspect the turmoil they got themselves into has created a wall for them. The probably try to screen callers.
Those are all good reasons to be pissed off, thank you for sharing. I’m going to get the FX Impact, so hopefully I can find one elsewhere, or I guess I’ll have to roll the dice with AoA. Maybe if I micro-manage the purchase I can avoid problems.

Problem I had with AoA is that when I first got into this PCP addiction, I was set on a bobcat, a regulated one… that is until I learned that instead of importing regulated guns direct from FX, they installed regulators in non-regulated guns, and didn’t do it properly. Then when the guns leaked and did not perform per the FX specs, AoA tried to push their incompetence off onto FX, and they did not respond to the problem well at all. They have also been caught red-handed reselling returned/used merchandise as factory new… I am thankful I did some research before I got taken by those folks. The ONLY reason I don’t own multiple FX guns now is that the only importer is AoA, and I will not deal with someone that cannot be trusted… too many other good folks around. Heck, any retailer that insists that the warranty on their guns is voided if Earnest works on them is CRAZY!! That man knows more about airguns than any 10 people at AoA!! That alone is enough for me not to deal with them…

First off welcome Yellowbelly. When I bought my Bobcat from AoA early last year they promised a delivery date of such and such, which never happened. Second of all I could NEVER get anyone to answer a damn phone. Leave your name and number and we’ll call you right back. BULLSHIT, they never called back or if they did it was days later. That’s customer service?? What we need is several Dealers who handle all the guns so we as customers can get the best price instead of this is the only price.

And grey market doesn’t sound like its gonna happen. (feasibly anyhow)
FX told all there dealers if they ship to the US they wont be selling FX no more.
I wonder how much it would cost to fly out to sweden…. Buy a shit load of FX Guns, come back and pull the carpet out from under AOA.
