why all the AoA hate?
I’m moving over to here because if you don’t march to the yellow owner’s tune, you’ll get your post deleted or you’ll be banished.
In the last few weeks I’ve noticed:
-Thread about FX lowering it’s prices….deleted
-Poster complained about all the anti-FX and anti-AoA posts. His (or her) post….deleted.
I want to participate in a non-aligned forum, where all views are heard.
One question I have, why all the AoA hate? Is there a legitimate reason other than their jacking up prices on FX rifles? I’m asking here because I don’t believe all the propaganda over there. I hear the owner over there is an investor of Wild West, and I’m suspicious of an ulterior motive.

I think the AoA hate comes from two main problems for me. First off I have not had a good experience at AoA. They made promises that they could not or would not keep and they were slow to respond to my concerns. Second, I don’t like anyone trying to use their “established market power” to try and crush a small start up. If you want to beat the start up by offering a better service at a better price that’s competition. Lastly I don’t like the price gouging. In the firearm business you never see the importer also act as the retailer. Those businesses are kept separate, like Beretta USA and it’s dealers. The average joe cannot buy directly from Beretta for example. This purposely prevents a major conflict of interest. With the current state of airguns AoA decides who they will sell to and at what price, if you get to popular they will lower their price, up your wholesale price,or just not sell to you. Because AoA policies are purposely set for them to dominate the market I choose to spend money with the smaller dealers.
