I was going to make a replacement trigger guard for my .308 when it comes because I wasnt digging that folded one they used to come with. I cant say I’m sad to see its been changed to something better so I miss out using my mill.
It’s the .458. It will deliver about 500 FPE for 2 shots.

It’s a select grade rifle with the laminate stock. I’m not sure he offers different grades of laminate.

Upon initial fill you have to cock the hammer and let the first burst in pretty quickly to seat the valve. Let it in too slow and the valve will not seat. The fill nipple is leaking and I’ll have to wait for it to depressurize so I can fiddle with the check valve.
What grade of stock is that? I really like it whatever grade it is!
I was just thinking about the whole valve-seating-from-an-empty-fill thing tonight, while considering whether or not to tear-down my 909 for a good inspection/cleaning. Looks like I should get a fill adapter for the scuba tank before I do, so I can get that quick burst of air to seat the valve, huh?

Thanks. Yes, he has improved on the trigger gaurds. The barrel band is also now peanut shaped. I believe they were previously oval?

The old style was a bit lacking, but I’ll bet it was a whole bunch easier to make.
I like the new style much better.
