LW Barrels
No one answers the phone and only one guy answers the emails. Does anyone else work there? For the last 4-5 months Woody has been telling me about once every week he will get me a quote. When the time comes he doesn’t respond and than starts all over with the bs again in another week.
Can anyone here get him to make some barrels? I told him I’d take as many as I needed to to make a batch.
Are there any other companies to get barrels from for .25 airguns?

That’s what I was thinking. If 26″ is the max how do you know? I’m hoping the valve release’s enough air for a 30″.
I think we are all intrigued to know what kind of #s that 30” barrel is going to get with the slugs.
I know a longer barrel = more energy for the bullet,pellet or slug, but doesnt that break down at some point? and if so where 30”,28,26?
Maybe cut back and recrown an inch at a time to see were the #s change? Of course that would be an expensive experiment.
If you get 7 ring slugs in the high 900s with this I’ll be next in line for a long gun 😀

Am waiting on someone from BSA to tell me if they can sell to me still. Guessing you don’t need any barrels now?
Yeah, it’s gonna be long, but I really want to move those slugs. Most of my shooting is done off a deck, so I’m usually sitting or prone. I may make a smaller gun with all my extras or sell them to fund another gun.
I’m having walt_in_hawaii do the work. He is doing a custom valve and moderator to go with the setup, maybe a breech too. He does really nice work and is a hell of a nice guy. He is very busy now, but the barrels are 12 weeks out so hopefully his schedule will clear up by then.
AND A MODERATOR?! 😯 that gun is gonna be a javelin!

assman, do you have the tooling to make it an AF barrel? i wouldnt mind having a 30 inch lilja barrel on my condor…

Orderd the barrel today. 12 weeks, wish we were that busy.
You don’t have to worry about stripping.
i dunno, man 😕 . thats a lot of surface area on those slugs contacting the rifling, 1 in 14 aint that much faster. if the career rifles with their super fast twist dont strip lead at that power, i dont think a 1 in 14 will, either. some pellets may, however, if you dont turn it down a bit… 😉
