Diablo withdrawl
I was going to sell my Royale 500 Carbine to rid myself of Diablo shooters.
However, I was offered a beuatufiul Rapid 2 in trade so I did that and have shot and sold it. So now I am without a Diablo shooterr.
In less than 2 weeks crows will be landing in a Doug fir at 80 yards from my window, last year maybe 12 died in that tree. The Haley while more than capable of killing them, and undoubtably the most effecient, has too much energy when it comes to earth so I have trouble using it and dealing with worry about where those bullets land.
I saw my first Tarantula a online auction site 3 years ago and fell in love with its lines, which as far as the rediculous lines of air guns, is classic at its best.
And I am Jonesing for a Tarantula grade 3 or 4.
In the vein of being a air gun cast bullet shooter, I want to embrace my classic wish for a truely classic rifle to kill those how do I say this eloquently? “Fucking loud crows with style”.
So I am looking.

I have gotten to the point that I loose interest in Diablo shooters faster than Crowpopper with a Red Ryder in a elk herd.

This thread has gotten far to deep to be an April Fools joke, but I wonder why you just ordered enough Kodiaks to get free shipping if you were going to sell the Rapid because its too heavy??

The hammer knob/bolt broke off in my hand, I have a 2 inch 1/4-28 bolt in it now and it is working fine until the Dyotat replacement gets here.
I spent the day getting rid of the dirft caused from the scope and bore not being perfectly aligned. When you shooting with a drop of 80 some inches from 90 to 260 yards, that is a big deal.
I finally got it timed this afternoon.
I sure like this rifle.
That and I am rediscovering the fun and utility of the Ranger 45 and the awesome airgun power it provides.
I keep looking at the Classifieds and just don’t see anyting I like better than that Samari sword Syn has for sale.
Just have to get closer to the crows for it to be effective. 😛

When I had mine and wish Ida kept it I kick my self in the ass every time now for selling it. It was one if my most accurate guns Ive shot.
In fact I am saving up now for one in .22 cal since I have my RWS 34 P springer in .177 and my Bam in ,25 and My haley 308 I have a nice stash of .22 cal pellets and no guns to fire them from
