Worth the money?
Hi there,
So in the past I was looking a lot around to decide which rifke to go for.
Due to some private issues, couldn’t buy anything.
Now everything is solved and I came up to really invest in some good quality.
But I’m not 100% sure I have to say. Currently I have an Air Ranger and must say that it is really great rifle. But the design is not mine. I like more the classical style, like the Huntsman Classic or the total different more modern tactical style.
So to sum it up – like the Daystates and Theobens because of their nice quality and accuracy as well.
But I got a real taste to the EdGun Matador. Read some things about it. Nevertheless, please give me some opinions and recommendations, if the Matador is really worth it’s high amount of $$$ compared to the mentioned brands.

Good for you bro…my friend bought the r3 short and had some bad luck happen on his end….nothing was wrong with the rifle…let’s just say the rifle isn’t in his hands anymore…it’s in the hands on the NJ state Police. :3:

Conclusion – IT IS WORTH THE MONEY ! 🙂

Yes. It has. Not maybe so much for accuracy but certainly for shot count and it’s noisier too if physics laws still appeal.
Question I forgot in general:
Is there a big difference between the Standard Version and the Short Version?
As I’m informed, difference in OAL is only about 2.36 inch. Same with the barrel.
Does this difference has a big impact on FPE, accuracy and noise?

I am quite sure & believe that Edgun is worth the money, why?
A; USA guys; have you ever think that you will get your Edgun from Russia? and the shipment will come/pass over the 3/4 of the earth to you?
go and check the price in Russia; it is even cheaper than Cricket & FX ( i am not talking about the Daystate & Theoben ( which its price at AOA is $2,700).
I have checked some websites in Russia, the price is around $1,400 – $1,500.
so don’t consider the shipping cost as a basic cost of the gun, for example my Benji M-Rod costed me $2,100 with some accessories, shall i ask you guys; does my M-Rod worth $2,100?
from the total of $2,100 the shipping cost was $950 shipping from USA to Iraq.
So, Yes of course Edgun worth every penny.

Me neither! That´s why i hope it does work. 
Don´t fret Swift – You can buy mine (R3) for 1450 + the freight to the Dark Side. It has a Weaver rail under the fore stock and a genuine Atlas GB knock-off Bipod, 30mm QD scope rings and a thick saddle-leather cheek rest cover too. Shoots like a champ !

Not sure if that already has their taxes added, but it doesnt seem like a huge savings after shipping costs.
In Europe taxes are always incl. in the price when the seller is dealing with private consumers. It´s the law. So to answer to your question : The price on Hurricane´s website is incl. the Swedish VAT which in turn is 25%.
Ok so somewhere in the $1200 range for the .25… if only I could find an Edgun for that price… 😯

No reason why i couldn’t buy a couple and send over there but it’s much cheaper to buy them as an American citizen and get them shipped stateside. That way you get them even cheaper since the Swedish sales tax at 25% is dropped. That always when the sale is outside European Union ✌
I know the owner of Hurricane , the biggest FX dealer in Scandinavia, quite well and he´s a reasonable guy – to a degree..
I´m sure he could do a good price for someone willing to buy a couple at the time. I´ll actually pay Tobbe (the ownwer) a visit tomorrow, Monday, regarding another matter and i can ask him what he thinks about that. He should have a clue about the shipping cost to the wrong side of the Pond too…

1849 is without regulator. It’s extra $210 to add it.
Edgun and Cricket come with regulator included.

He was transporting the rifle from one state to another and got pulled over…he was transporting the rifle wrong and the took the rifle and hit him with a felony….the sad part is the court said the rifle will be destroyed..which I doubt…that means somebody walked away with a free matador.
