I am a man with not many words. Usually I like to read your posts and learn from you guys. Recently I read a post by Oldgoat that he is doing he is experimenting on his brand new .30 Matador. This is not something new. He may have already tried to replaced his .25 barrel with a .257 Hart barrel to shoot cast bullets. I think with the .30 Matador, it is very promising.
Knowing Tedd from this forum, he is one CRAZY DUDE. There isnt a thing about the Matador that he does not know. He would go out of his way to help a brother out. How many times have you seem him send out O rings, tools he made, and advice for a brother that needs it?. The best part is he never ask for anything in return. Tedd does not know I am doing this. I wanted to give back to the guy that gave so much to the sport of air gunning.
Hey Tedd, I do not know if AOA EBR allows cast bullets in their competition, but if they do, then its what you wanted. If they do not allow Cast bullets, then you can still tune your .30 Matador to shoot JSB.
Here is the best part, I like to nominate TEDD to the next AOA Exteme Bench Rest Competition. I want to start a “Tedd Foundation Fund” of 400.00 dollars to help his expense.
If anyone would like to contribute to this fund, you can PM me. It does not have to be much, $5, $10, $20 or which ever you are comfortable is appreciated.
Tedd will not get this fund until he attend the competition and win the first prize. Just kidding about the first prize : so let the FUND begin, lets sign up.

I did got a big frisking laugh when Ville picked on me. I have always enjoyed both of your posts. It lightened my day because when I am at work, The pressure is like a ton of bricks on my shoulder.
Thank goodness for air guns, thanks for you guys and thanks TAG for giving us the opportunity to meet. Air guns keeps me busy on my spare time, keep me sane during the week and air gun is something I look forward to during the weekend with my sons.

I had a few sent thru Paypal, but their names does not match their user ID on TAG, Some sent check with their wifes name. I had a hard time figuring out who it was???? ❓ ❓ ❓
Anyway, your suggestion on listing their names and grand total is ok with me. Like you said, it is not important how much we give, as long as Tedd know that everybody supports him is the most heart felt gesture.
Like I said before, no amount is too big or too small. I will take money, credit cards, checks money order, Paypal. And yes Food stamps and gift cards too. 😯 😯 😯
If you dont have either, I will start to take used clothes, food and maybe drugs, beer and fine liquor. 😳 😳 😳 😳
Ok lets be realistic. Just before the travel date, we can all flood his Iphone with PM wishing him good luck. I think That is also a good way to support him. Good moral will bring great result.

I agree but it is usually not in bad taste to bring attention to those that stepped up in an exceptional way without listing their actual donations. Draw a line on the amount and give honorable mention to those who exceed. I have seen it effective on bringing in more dollars on just such donation drives. Plus I might have to dig deeper !!!

No…I don’t understand how it works either. But since John never said he didn’t get it, I just assumed it arrived safely to his monitor. I think it is received on the inside of his monitor, so it’s a bit more trouble for him to retrieve than just mailing or Paypaling it, but the point is that you at least tried!!!

Somehow this thread got back on top. If you are planing to go to the EBR this year, I like to suggest to pick up Tedd and Ted in Madison , if you are driving. Gas money will be on Me.
Yes, I was trying to rally and put together a “Tedd EBR Fund”. I will have a list of the members that made contribution and the total amount raised for the trip. On behalf of OldGoat and the Bullpup group, I like to say thanks To those that made donations. It is still not too late if you like to participate in this effort. Thanks for your leadership on this. Obviously cash has not been flowing in, so I have taken it upon myself to find ways others can assist as best they can!
The current total collections perhaps won’t be enough to get Tedd a good start. It’s time the forum members stepped up and took action. Re-consider coughing up $10 bucks, more if possible, or perhaps select one of the items below:
Alternate ways to help out Tedd…
1) Volunteers to prepare no-refrigeration required “sack lunches” to be sent to Tedd’s home, prior to his trip.
2) “Caches” of those little fold-over “berry pies”, a bag of chips, one roll of toilet tissue, and a six pack of a fermented beverage, at eight to ten specific stop points along his route. With forum members all over the United States, we can do this with a minimum of travel on our part. Tedd may need to divert a state or two along the way to get to the packages, but that’s his problem!
3) Someone in the location of the Match to drop off a stack of cardboard boxes so Tedd can seek shelter from the sun,and to sleep under at night to avoid motel costs.
4) A six-pack of men’s large cotton used underwear from Goodwill, or a 24-pack of Depends. (Please…let’s be civil, no “scrape-offs”!)
5) One (1) stick of deodorant (partially used OK, if the top is wiped down first)
6) One small (1) bar soap/shampoo. These can easily be obtained free from motels by forum members going on trips prior to the Match!
That should about do it as far as getting him there! There are ways to help without donating cash! Volunteers needed for the above.
As for Tedd’s return trip…he’s a big boy….we can’t do everything for him!!!

Lot of good folks and lot of BS too but when it’s serious here’s when you find the knowledge and know-how , dare i say intelligence , that’s unmatched anywhere else.
