Q:

Another P12 @ Home

Ok she is in! She is looking pretty good folks! I can say this for now that she is fairly quite after taking a few shots out the door and she is pretty light weight with the skeleton body and easy in the hands.

I have taken a few very poor images with my phone… sorry the wife has hidden the camera (mis-placed it that is 😆 )

spare parts and tools

40yd 938fps 21.12gn pellet (I believe this may have been shot prior to the regulator installed she may be shooting to hot when I switch to JSBs but I will see shortly)

More to come from me and everyone else I mean the 19 others….

P12

Im pretty sure turn it clockwise will lower and to raise it you want to back it out….

I guess its a flip of the coin…. but if i remember well enough i think that CCW increases pressure. shoot Mike at Mrod air an email.

CCW – IINCREASED pressure

CW – Decreases pressure

Ater playing with the reg that HUMA regulator is adjusted as stated above for those that not sure.

P12 PELLET TEST

Ok for what its worth there it is I let you guys nitpick everything…. :suprisedn:
Im not sure but I am wondering if Air Arms are JSB Pellets in AA Packaging. I dont have JSB 15grainers but if I did I bet they would be similar too.

I will shoot the top 3 at 50yds in the next few days.

indeed you are correct about AA pellets and jsb. air arms pellets are made from the same dies as the jsb are. good eye. so you are correct which would explain why you see what you do in your data.

cant wait for mine to be here finally and get to testing and reviews for it

ok I was post 999 on P12 and now I am Post 1000 LOL (I know this has nothing to do the P12 just wanted a nice rounded number!)

P12 PELLET TEST

All pellet groups shot
-P12 refilled to 200 bar for each group
-5 pellets per groups
-pellets randomly picked (did throw out ones that had bad bent skirts)
-25yds

Cleaned the tube and lubed the o-rings and as of now no leak.

Now for the Regulator Adjustment this may be a goofy question but, what direction increases bar pressure “clockwise or counter clockwise”. I hate to have degas couple extra times because I turned the wrong direction.

You can just screw the trigger rod into the reg and pull it out the back of the tube. Mine was leaking due to manufacturing debris, cleaned the tube and the o-ring and it sealed up. Regards, Tom

You could but why even take the stock off the gun??? When it takes yah 2 mins to pop it out the front

the oring that seals against the valve (between valve and regulator) it seems as though it is just a touch to large….

at least thats how mine seems. it doesn’t naturally sit in the groove in the regulator. but with a liberal amount of silicone it stays flat and in the groove.

i would just pull the front plug cap off the air tube and use low pressure air (shop air) and blow it in the end of the barrel (with your degassed in and engaged) and the reg will pop righ out the front. it saves a shit load of time. then just lube the orings up and make sure that oring on the back of the reg is well seated. then just slide it back in the front and when u fill the gun the reg will slide back into position.

quote Wingman NZ:

my guess is a damaged Oring on the outer body of the reg… probably from pushing it past the thread..

I will give the orings a quick inspection if no noticable damage I will lube them up with some silcon grease refill and check in 12hrs.

That’s lame :sadn:, too many reports of leaks with just the first 20 p12’s imho 😯

I cant speak for any other gun that had a possible leak but this leak has to do with a aftermarket part that was installed.

Ok been super busy with are new baby girl. any who So back at it….

I found my leak with the old soap and water trick.

It seems to be at the end of the air tube were the regulator is. Im guessing the regulator is not seating very well so it is time to disassemble and check it out! Not sure if that will also cause lack of power when fired too I have been shoting at 880fps and with the reg preset it should be in the 900-920 range I believe. Anyone have any thoughts on that?
