Q:

Got my Multi-Shot Kit

What up guys! I got my multi-shot kit in the mail the other day. From notification to delivery was probably about a week (counting weekend) and I live in Hawaii. Pretty dang good there Tony! As always Ed’s workmanship is impeccable. I love that the guy touches by hand the pieces when building these guns and multi-shot kits. Quality control. OK enough of that stuff.

Well I got the kit installed and it does as expected, looks pretty good as well. That said you pretty much gotta take apart the gun to remove the stock breech and install the multi-shot kit. I went with a full removal of the air tube, trigger group and then the stock breech. There is a breech block that the barrel screws into also that needs to be removed and replaced with one that comes with the kit. If you guys want pictures or a video of how or just to see it I can get around to it if there are requests. Just give me sometime.

Still gotta put some on paper to see if accuracy changes or anything (not expecting any problems). I am just a simple plinker and pest controller so I really don’t do all that shot string stuff with a chrono sorry.

Brother Denny,,,

i can see the result of firing +80K pellets on your body,,, you look smart and healthy man,,, good we don’t have any females here in TAG,,otherwise they would contact you and created problem with your wife,,, :biggrinn: :biggrinn:

i can say that we are lucky to not have ladies here,,,hahaha :biggrinn: :biggrinn: :biggrinn: 😆 😆

Shots were everywhere. Lots of chrony strings, target practice, plinking, and hunting. I probably pumped appx 20k worth of pellets with my Hill pump to pass time at night. Figure an average of 100 shots per charge between two guns=200 pump sessions. 😀 . Im no Arnie by any means but plenty strong and stocky from sports, work, working out and active life. 😀

Brother Denny

Think if you were living in a country that you have only hand pump to refilling your Edguns or PCPs…and had shot over 100k pellets!!What would happen to you????

I am thinking of being like arnold…..hahahaha. ..

I am curious to know where did you shot all 100k pellets. .. that place might having no live animals.

Hard to pass up the savings. Considering I’ve already shot over 100k pellets that’s appx 10k free.
I’ve got easily another 80k of 22 and 25 sitting on the shelf. I haven’t been shooting much as I’ve been busy growing my business here in Montana and exploring Glacier National Park.

Denny,,,,

it is good to order a bunch in once and get some tins free shipping from PA as well from ,,, I like PA and ordered most of my tools/items/ Benjamin marauder // ,,,, from them,, they are very good and have a very good offers from most of the times for USA guys ,,, not outside of US,,, but i usually got %10 discount all the time,, i like them ,,, usually i got my shipments within 6-7days ,,, which is great to get stuffs from the other part of this planet within only 6 days,,,,

I installed mine exactly how ED showed in the video and all went fine. I also cleaned the action and applyed a little moly to it. It came out great. My barrel was a bit tight on the single shot Breech but it came off pretty easy once i put it in the vice. I put the barrel in the vice and wrapped a rag around the brech and then used a wrench over the rag. It’s shooting so good i love it. I just look forword to getting some more magazines now.

Hemm. I’ve spent A lot of money but I always try to buy when Pyramyd has 10% off plus free shipping deal.
I’ll buy appx 20-30k pellets at a time.
I did pull the multi shot apart to inspect and add in my own moly lube.
Things looked good.
No noticeable increase in loudness.

Finished installing the Multi kit on my .25 cal today. Everything went smoothly on the disassembly until I got to barrel screwed in to the single shot breech. Don’t want to meet that guy that installed it in a dark alley because it was a mother to get off. I took Demp’s advice and used an anti seize product on it. Left it alone for 15 min came back with moderate effort it broke loose. Conversion complete, changed all my screws in the process (thanks to John Phan on that) and used ananti seize product before torquing them down. I also applied a little Molly on the multi kit arm that advance the magazine. Anyone changing over to the multi may run into the same problem but like Demp said ” Anti Seize is your friend”. I did notice that the .25 Multi Kit conversion is a little louder than the .25 cal single shot. I double checked and made sure the breech O-ring was in place including the brass transfer port O-ring. It’s not much louder but it is noticeable. Anyone else found this to be true? Don’t know if it’s a design end result due to no o-rings required on the bolt probe as in the .25 cal single shot. Accuracy at 50 yards is the same, spot on. Will pellet test and chrony check this weekend.

Mine came with some very thick lube that was brown and black….so I took that off and used a touch if moly and some of my paintball grease which is really slippery.

Are you guys adding any lube to the multishot kit? Mine was dry, and I installed it that way, but the pictures I’m seeing of multishot breaches form other guns all have a lot of lube.

shot breech had appx 25k shots on it so it was broken in well.

My Brother Denny.,,,,

i am wondering to know how much money did you spent on buying pellets???

i know you have over 60K pellets with your .22cal Edgun as well….

Finally getting around to posting. Got my kit over a week ago. I like that its labeled 25 cal.
Swapped over breech in about 15 min. Antisieze is your friend.
Accuracy at 75yds is just as tight as single shot. Everything cycles and times perfect. Definitely a more noticeable effort to cock and cycle mag but not overly heavy. Then again my single shot breech had appx 25k shots on it so it was broken in well.
Put a noticeable mark on magazines and index so I know when I’ve got one more shot left.
This should be nice when hunting to not have to pull out pellet box to get next pellet.

O.k., thanks.
