not sure if sarcastic or for real.
in all seriousness though, i used to work 2 full time jobs and go to school full time at one point in time. i quit school and 1 job, during the time when i was over burdened i had no time for myself. barely any time to sleep even. because of this my bank account swelled tremendously and i got to experience a lot when i quit school and 1 of those jobs (one was in a mill pulling green chain, another was as a janitor for a 5 star company, was going to school for my pilots license, guess what job i quit? mill lol.)
Oh , not sarcastic at all. Keep up the interesting posts.

lol. 65 hp doesnt get you far in the air, mostly a treeline skimmer, looses too much power at elevation and cant keep pressure on the tailing edge of the prop.
id be scared to death to fly anything under 125hp for the simple fact that i like to know i have that little extra to get back up off the runway if something were to go awry in a pinch
You never cease to amaze me with your vast amount of experience and knowledge. Glad I am here to soak it up. Keep it coming.

i know a guy that has one of those champs. has a special radio he straps to his leg. he however, took and graduated pilots school through a local airstrip. he learned with a front wheel, then had to get certified for a tail dragger later.
got nailed on a inspection because he installed the wideband radio antennae himself with out it being inspected before and after.
Behind the champ is one of our local airfields. There are at least a dozen planes in that hangar. The Mississippi river is beyond the trees. He has a 65 HP Champ which is way underpowered. The 85 HP is a much better performer.
Neat ride
You’re the most interesting “disabled” living at home pothead, in the world!
We need to have someone from a NASA forum post a story on here for us about the time they piloted a shuttle mission so Reaper can tell us of his similar experience..
I think you guys are being a little harsh, after all he may only be a recreational smoker…

I was trolling to get it reposted. :biggrinn:
‘Coda,
FYI, a certain eccentric member posted a horrifying pic of three…things, in bikinis. None were under 300 lbs and looked like giant, frozen sculptures of cottage cheese. Be very glad you don’t know exactly what I’m talking about! The picture was posted more than once. Pray it never happens again.
Reaper = ”
lol, i have no nasa storys. though i hear the crew of the challenger and columbia are DYING to say something LOL ”
I gotta tell ya bud ……….. tasteless, very tasteless. You’re a class act !

You weren’t killed! Did all the rest of the club members quit??? :twak:
A lot of people die doing things that excite them, including driving fast cars, taking aspirin, eating bacon, and getting out of bed!
It’s all about concentration, good training, and being careful. Nobody knows their personal fate…that’s a wild card in life no one can control.
Your motto should be: “If I’m not well Hung, I may as well Hang!”
