Ordered a .25 Cricket

Not to sure if it’s good enough for Donny but it’s cool enough for an average Joe, a new one from Dremel for about a grand.

Thanks for the kind words fellas and bastards like GKU 🙂 Kids definitely have taken a lot of my time now. However, my innovative mind never seems to take a break. This week I am ordering a 3D printer which will open many doors to new baffle designs and gun accessories. I am excited and feeling nerdy at the same time. Found out there’s a meetup for 3D printing near my house this Wednesday. Some of the guys who are attending have years of experience of printing and drawing in CAD. Definitely will come in handy. If anyone has a butt plug design that they always wanted to try, let me know and I can hook you up!
  Good point GKU, I forgot to mention that!
Yes Zonk, a Very Beautiful Little Boy ,,, ,,, , he’s so lucky he doesn’t look anything like Donny at all, looks just like his mom !
just joking with ya.

Zoink, who is this Donny that you rave of?[/quote]
Like GKU said he’s a member on this forum, send him a PM and he’ll get back to you. I’m sure he’s spending time with his new child and not on here as much.
Zonk my experience is the pellet impact is louder than anything

Donny is a member here on TAG that makes a variety of Shrouds, LDC for the Cricket and Edguns so far as I know …. .. . you need to as him.
His work is Supremely Executed with Perfection !!!
I have a bunch of he work on my Crickets, the SoS (Slip on Shroud) which does just that …… … . slips right on and over the OEM shroud, and is very quiet !
His two piece Carbon Fiber Shroud/LCD is just … .. . baD aSs !
The Shroud with the LCD which replaces the OEM completely.
I use it at my home range to keep the neighbors from even knowing that I’m shooting into a rubber mulch trap way into the night up to 10:00 PM !
When going to the farm I use the Shroud only for bush walking, which on it’s own is a bit lighter and quieter then the OEM.
When time comes to clean the barrel no more twisting it attaches with one nylon tip hex screw.
It’s a real joy ….. … . very easy and faster to remove compared to the OEM.
He goes by donnyfl and can be contacted here http://talonairgun.com/forum/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=99293

Hotass it only gets better! Donny’s shroud and LDC rock! It’s soooo quiet birds don’t even fly when your shooting at them. Trust me I know, I tested it for him.
Chad, I took my crickets out this afternoon…. zeroed the Primary Arms 4-14X44 FFP within about 6 shots. Got is shooting dead nutz at 40 yards… Got my first kill with the .22 this afternoon… took out a starling at about 12 yards!!! 🙂
I love my .25, but this little .22 sure is fun to shoot and it is so quiet, it sounds like the pellet is hardly leaving the barrel! I replaced the factory shroud with a CF slip on Shroud and a CF LDC from Donnyfl (Screen name on Here)… I cannot believe how quiet it is!
Good luck with yours! Can’t wait to see your reports.
i can not wait to get out and test the range on my little bug also. :4:
I drank the Cricket Koolade, and the .25 Koolade. HOGWASH! 😈 You guys are so full of :fishinghole: Every One of you THIS IS FOR YOU!
Thank you. :8: The Cricket ROCKS :7: . My shipment of JSB King pellets came in today while I was out looking for a quick release for the fill hose. :darth-vader:
Took the fill probe off the BSA R10`s yoke and put the Cricket probe on. Filled to 3000psi and headed out to the dairy. In my haste, I forgot to bring targets. Once there I set up the Caldwell DeadShot and one of those three legged teepee like stools that shove half of the seat up your ass and the other leg tries to crush the twins. Got out the range finder and ranged a few of the 10″ metal poles. One at 36yds, 53yda, and the other at 76yds. 8 shots and it was hitting 1/4″ high at 36yds.
I loaded the second mag and got to shooting squirrels. 40yds, 53yds, and the longest one at 84yds. I decided to see how it does at range. Shot a dirt clod at 125yds. Hoot:
I really like this Cricket. I have to take my tank in to get a visual inspection tomorrow.
Oh, got an email that my Primary Arms 4-14×44 MD has shipped. :8:
Took some pics with my phone, I will figure out how to post pics. We are in the middle of selling our home and it gets busy around here.
I may have to name this fangled Cricket.
Again, thank you all very much for the positive, the negative and general information on this wonderful airgun.
I love everything about them, especially the tall turrets and how they work. My one complaint is the weight.. I guess that’s unavoidable in this case though. I bought mine on the YF for $175. Came in the box w/everything.. Heck of a deal.

Well guys, I have both a .22 and a .25 cricket with Donny’s shroud/LDC combo on them and they are both completely silent except for the hammer slap and pellet impact. Further, I had absolutely NO poi shift with either one. The first shroud Donny made for me for my .25 had a clipping issue and we tried a couple different LDC’s but then determined the problem was with the shroud. He made me a new one on that new fangled machine what he got and it was perfect. I’ve shot it out to 75 yards with no change in POI. They are simply amazing!
