Q:

AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE THOUGHT THAT I WOULD HAVE THIS MANY ISSUES WITH SUCH EXSPENSIVE EQUIPMENT!!!

my cricket had a shroud clipping issue! =1600$
My small air venturi tank got a leak in the knob with in a couple of uses= 300$
Brand new shoebox missing vent knob, and blew the fuse on first start up! = 1200$
Now it seems as if the pump or motor is binding some how because it is really hard to move by hand and apon first switching the shoebox to start the motor just gave an electrcal vibration noise then the fuse blew!

WHAT THE F#€& IS UP WITH THE AIRGUN WORLD! I am really regretting moving from powder to air! I have spent 2100$ more on this one gun then I would have any other powder burner. And atleast with a powder burner you know it is going to shoot.

I have never been more frustrated with a hobby and I have had a lot of hobbies all much cheaper then this hobby and all much more reliable!

Or you could pay over $30,000 for a new car and spend the next year returning to the dealer getting repairs like it should have ran from the factory to start with…LOL

Anyway, Chad2, I hope all is now cool for you.

Golf balls are not $4 a pop – better check that! 🙂 I quit playing in my teens – couldn’t justify the time wasted and I was pretty good for a youngster.

Glad to see all is fixed Chad – yes this and any hobby can be a PITA. My SCUBA hobby costs me a small vehicle at times but I still love doing it.

Your right on that one. You hit a golf ball with a 52 gr HP at 200 yards and it explodes, or if you nick it, it takes off like a rocket.

Better put the golf balls at Zonk’s 200 yards or wear safety glasses. Golf balls are like old tires: they shoot back.

Maybe you can also shoot the $1000 clubs?

I like putting them out to 200 yards and shoot them with my 40X, bout all they’re good for.

Golf is disgusting compared to this sport.

sometimes, I think it is better not to have any hobby at all… 🙁

You could try golf. Buy a set of top end clubs for a thousand bucks, then try to whack the crap out of $4 golf balls and work yourself into a lather. Oh, don’t forget the $50 each time you play twice a week. Then, after you’ve had enough of it, you can sell your $1000 clubs at a garage sale for $25. Talk about pouring money down a rat hole. Smile, be happy!

One more… perhaps a Vulcan.. then no more… No Mas!

I am ready to die…

Chad, I see your blood pressure is back down. Now lets get shooting…

chad2 , with no disrespect intended , maybe you would have been better off in buying a Vulcan instead of the Cricket .

Chad2 had or is having problems with $3100 worth of airgun and support equipment. He posts his issues looking for help from guys here on the forum. Do you think telling him he bought the wrong $1600 airgun is helping or making matters worse?

so i have fixed my accuracy issues with the cricket while i was on vacation me and my dad and brother set up at 100 yards shooting 1″ groups we hung string to shoot it was awesome.

also the air venturi leak is also fixed.

and i figured out the shoebox issue apparently the shoebox got dropped or something making the motor move creating an extreme amount of tension on the belt. everything has been worked out now.

it is just really frustrating spending this amount of money and not getting a perfect product. any gun company would fix there gun with no questions asked and that could mean a 400$ gun a third of the price!

Put a new pair of trainers on it zonk most will follow as a fashion icon just as most have any how

I have a 22 cricket that shoots extremely well. Its heavy with synthetic stock but it’s not going anywhere. I have a skeleton stock which I can put on if the weight is something I can’t live with that any longer. Guns are by no means something fashionable. They are tools and my tools need to perform or else…..

Same here KGB, going on two years with the cricket and not one issue. Shot string is great 876 to 883 fps through 56 shots. How can you beat that? Accuracy is unbelievable, trigger is at 3 oz, love shooting it.

I have a Cricket, in .25 cal. I have not had any problems and am extremely happy, I even still have the original o rings in for over a year. Sure, I would love to shoot a Vulcan and try one out, but by no means am I sorry I got my cricket. Plus, if the Vulcan is at all louder than my Cricket, I wouldn’t trade it, period. Crickets are extremely accurate, yes, even past a hundred yards. So, Chad, once you get all the bugs worked out I know you will be happy. I have followed your posts about your Cricket and it sucks when you have problems but push through them, you have some great equipment.
