My little one like both JSB 18 and 16g can’t say which one is more accurate, it depend on the lot batch I’m guessing ?
JSB 18g at 830 fps I’m getting 40 shots from a 240-140 bar fill.
JSB 16g at 870 fps the same as above.
At 100 yards with the above setting the 18g average POI is about 2″ lower than the 16g.
JSB 18g at 810 fps I’m getting 48 shots from a 240-140 bar fill.
JSB 16g at 855 fps the same as above.

My little friend is shooting the 18s at 810, I am getting good results from that regulator and HST setting. The 16s are flying at 853, they are giving me a much flatter trajectory. The foot pounds obviously are the same between the two pellets. Chairgun list the 18.1 BC at .0330 and the 16s at .0310. I calculated my own BC in this gun at .0336 for the 18s and 16s at .0328. So the retained energy is the same for all intents and purposes. The advantage of the 16 (15.89) in this case is the greater speed without the sacrifice of more air used. Noise and foot pounds also stay the same. I believe this gun is perfect with the 16s.

I really like that pellet also, shoots more flat than the 18s with less hold over.
And not with the loss fpe, thats the best part.

Fox I was shooting JSB 15.89’s, Ernest tuned her down to increase shot count at 800 fps. I was talking with Keyser I wanted to shoot a heavier pellet but he said 16’s should shoot well at 800 and I won’t loose anything in the way of foot pounds. I was happy yesterday with my results.

The Baby is back from Ernest. I have not Chrony’d her however I had it at the range yesterday and it was grouping up well. Nailing spinners at 8o yards almost every time once I figure out the wind. I am waiting on the Air-Chrony to arrive to test her out. But from the tight groups at 50 yards and even 75 yards I would say is spitting them out consistently.
