Q:

Smoothing out the action?

Hey Guys,

Anyone have any recommendations for smoothing out the action? At times that last centimeter or so that you push the bolt forward to load the pellet and lock the bolt down seems to require an inordinate amount of force.

Usually when Im just fucking around or shooting paper I don’t really care, but yesterday I was shooting birds and it was kind of annoying to have to take my eye off the scope and rack the shit out of the cocking handle to get the thing to load.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Rob

Climate change is the Devil himself plus his right hand man. They will be empowering themselves to legally steal money they are not entitled too. What a load of crap. As far as I’m concerned they are worse than isus themselves.

Lurker your right about the Libs wanting to charge us a tax on climate change. It’s to bad these younger kids are on their phones all the time instead of paying attention to what’s really going on…

mine is a .177 with .22 you should be ok don’t worry

Kris,
That large hole through the pellet probe worries me too. Having a spare would be a very good idea however I’d rather have a solid rod in place of it. If you can get some made up I’d buy several.

yes just leave the barrel o ring compressed for a few nights

if still not happy, replace it with a thinner wired one just like I did, and I can confirm it is much better. the new spring is slightly longer.
much much better
now I can feel as I push the side bolt forward how the pellet probe engages and passed through the o ring resistance

Already defeated global warming bullshit by reading and understanding history 🙄 You know, 11 year sunspot cycle, 200 year global cooling in between 400 year cycle of mini ice ages as determined from ice cores. As the mini ice age approaches we are experiencing hot zones such as western coast of U.S. while eastern states are experiencing below normal temps. Unfortunately the carbon credit freeks are cherry picking high temps and ignoring the true averages. Besides cherry picking historic temperature data is being changed by increases of up to 1 degree. Wake up and you will begin to understand that carbon credits are just another way to inflate prices and create new taxes. ho ho ho

kris,
In your opinion is the hole in the pellet probe there to adjust length, align, or just mount and tighten it ❓

I cant seem to find the right size spring.

however I have left the gun in the forward down position for a week and it seems the spring has taken a bit of compression so easier to do it.

obviously the hammer spring is not left compressed the gun is not cocked.

I say take everything apart screw everything up then let it collect dust on shelf somewhere. That would be the ultimate air gunning experience

X2, I agree with you Hoot:

Some people are never satisfied with one solution to a problem. They never seem to quit poking holes in things 😳
