My Vulcan
Well my Vulcan is finally coming home to me. As you’ve all watched Ernest videos, that was my Vulcan he was giving TLC to. How many other guns have gotten that much attention? The Master has done his magic now it’s time to come home to Papa….. It’s time to give the Cricket a rest.

AGH, yes I do all the time. My Vulcan feels better then my cricket as far as handling and balance. I really love the side cocking bolt on the Vulcan, compared to the rear cocking lever on the Cricket. Shot count is about the same, about 60 shots with both. Velocity on both is around 890 fps. I really believe the Cricket can out shoot my Vulcan. And as soon as the weather warms up I’ll do a serious comparison on both guns.

Tha’s why I call Doug/dyotat100 “The Godfather”! I am going to give my soon to be rifle the “Official” nomenclature of “The AirForce “DNS” Condor .257…(DNS stands for Doug Noble Special”)! I literally can’t sleep from all of the anxiety of waiting for my new rifle…(Check the times on a lot of my post as proof).
That’s why I consider Cedric/tofazfou my mentor (unbeknownst to him). I call him my “Little Big Brother” because I was pulling a YouTube “Tubeathon” of Cedric/tofazfou ‘s greatest shots (it never gets old) and my 5 year old came in asking “Who’s bad Daddy?”. I said no, not bad as in bad, I’m saying this guy is ‘BAAAD” with that gun as in good. My son said “Oh” then looked at Cedric on the screen and said “Daddy he looks like you is that your brother?”, I chuckled and said “Yeah”. He went to tell my 9 and 7 year old girls and they came to look. My middle said “Is that really your brother?” I chuckled again an said “Yeah”. My oldest said “Nuh uhhh, that’s not your brother Daddy, you don’t have any brothers” I said “Uhh huh, he’s my “Little Big Brother”. The two youngest were in awe at me having a brother but my oldest said “Guys don’t you see what he’s doing, he’s tricking us because there is no such thing as a “Little Big Brother” and I burst out laughing. My oldest said “That was almost a good one because he does look like he could be your brother”.
So now I call him “Little Big” (when I’m talking to the screen of course… never met or talked to him in person). It’s kind of appropriate though as I’m about 6-8 months older than him (Little), but he’s definitely bigger than I am in this HPA game/scene (Big). Besides never having a brother, I would love to have one that could do that 😆 😆 .
Keeping with the Vulcan theme, how much power can be tuned into that gun, dyotat100 style? I saw the YouTube sniperXXX (left x’d intentionally) and it was very impressive.
uh oh…I feel sorry for those yotes that come ringing that doorbell, Zonk! 😆

That was some GREAT shooting! And with an air rifle to boot.
Ok Zonk, I realize that I embellished a little on tofazfou’s power. I reviewed the video of tofazfou’s 230 and 446 yard shots again (just can’t get enough) and it appears the TD .257 pushes 74gr about 1010 – 1015 fps for about 168 – 170 fpe and a 101gr Spitzer at about 895 fps for 180 fpe.

That’s still pretty impressive power!!!! This is what made me want a AirForce “DNS” Condor .257!!!! (Just a couple of weeks away, and BANG)!
