You already stated you do not like B/P you are a rifle man,,, That being said you need to look at rifles,,,,
Why are you still asking about a Vulcan?
Just wondering?

….because people who bought the Vulcan Bullpup are reporting that it is that ONE airgun that shoots right from the get go, from the box quite literally.

I hate to pay so much money on something that I have to fiddle with, and spend sleepless night to make it spit pellets on a good shot string. When I go to a fine restaurant, I just want to dine and enjoy the food, than wish more or less salt on the food delivered on my plate…more or less zip on the wine.

I am rifleman alright, and the bullpup is still a compact rifle. I just do want to buy and enjoy the hobby. With that…..it seems the Vulcan fits the requirement, as read by posts made by happy owners. Though I am not sure if Snyperqty is happy or mad, he is seen throwing his Vulcan to the floor.

I know at least one cricket owner spending a headache or more on getting his Crickets performing as desired.

Maybe look at the Cricket, You can call it a bug killer if you do not like the name….
But out of the box accuracy , You will be hard pressed to pass up the Mutant and the Cricket…
:2cents:
Call the Mutant, The one,, if you do not like the name, As it will be the one you go to….

I like the 25 caliber , I have a 22 and a 25 Cricket, Earnest tuned,
Just bought a 22 Mutant, I just heard they are coming out with a 25 Mutant.
If you like the B/P style and you ever get a chance to shoot a Mutant,
There will be nothing else in your sights,
I am not saying do not buy the Vulcan , I had my trigger finger on one for a while,
BUT, You will buy a Mutant if you get to shoot one, That’s a guarantee or double your money back.
Mike

i am rifleman, through and through.

so it is not so much about the bullpup thing.

my primary draw to the vulcan is the reported, out of the box delivery of accuracy. i have seen how it is that one does things before an ag gets to be really hitting targets.

it is about the accuracy.. hitting the ground running.. right from opening the box.

thanks. and i will look into the mutant. but i dont like the name. sounds like… movie fantasy to me.

can’t find the post but someone said they had spoken to Evgeny and he was planning on bigger bores and semiauto?

Wasn’t Evgeny involved with the design of the semiauto Hummingbird?

I have a strong feeling it would be the Wife who can convince me NOT to get a new Vulcan Bullpup.

Kris, your are a cheater. Original gen2 stock doesn’t have that nicely angled buttpad we see in your picture 🙂

it is a gen 2, the shroud turned 180deg so there is a bit more volume in front of the muzzle, so take 2-3cms from the shroud to get the original length and a milliput putty butt. but the size is there. And normally you don’t want such a large scope on it so.
People have much higher scope mounts because of the original butt seize/shape.

I hope it helps.

Thanks much Kris.. that was fast.

I think I can scale it from your photo… then make my wooden Vulcan replica .

Would anyone please be kind enough to trace for me the outline of a Vulcan cal .25, with dimensions so that I could cut a plank of wood out of it, and try to fit if I will like shouldering a V bullpup?

I may screw-in an actual picatinny rail and mount a real scope to be realistic just as well, except for the weight.

Thanks in advance.
