Q:

2015 Lelya Pics?

Does anyone even know what the new Lelya’s look like? I’m referring to the one with the non-centric shroud. Some of us have been waiting for close to a year but have yet to see what might arrive in the next shipment.

Hoot on the other hand has been waiting for a century so I’m glad he got his.

I still have the .30 and prefer the R3s to the latest R3M I tried a while back.

I sold my standard .25 Edgun pretty cheap and hardly shot. Less than two tins I think. I find using the .177 like using mini-tackle on fish. I know Earnest like his the same and even turn it down a bit to make it silent. I am thinking another 177 now. But also a deer capable gun.

I’ve been kicking myself in the ass for not buying that .25 off if you !
:butkick:

I have two of those skeleton stocks. I think that was another KalibrGun mistake. :angrymob:

The 177 cricket compact is missed a little and I kept back a spare skeleton stock in case I decide to recreate it.

RIDE,

What bullpups do you got left?

22 cricket compact, #3 in line on my favorite list,
22 Edgun Short, #2 in line on my favorite list,
25 cricket long, too long and awkward, don’t care for it but a great accurate gun
30 Edgun Std.
22 Lelya, #1 favorite gun

I sold the 177 cricket compact, did not like the tiny pellets and lack of impact compared to 22
Sold the Edgun R3 std. as it provided nothing my short didn’t do and was just bigger, no value to me.
Sold the Edgun 25 long, just do not like long versions of air rifles

Kind of wanting a 25 Edgun Std. will sell the 25 cricket long after I get one.

Two Lelyas on order 22 and 25 both walnut

RIDE,

What bullpups do you got left?

Does anyone know if Tony currently has any 25 std. Matadors. I have an R3 conversion from R3M put back and I am kinda wanting to get one so I have the shortest version of every caliber in R3.

Also, is there any updates or news on the Lelyas that have been on order, I got a 22 and 25 ordered for a good while now and not heard from Tony yet. I am used to waiting and sometimes a long time so no big deal but just curious if anyone knows the latest without having to read the entire site to find out.

Thanks,

My Avatar got screwed up, hum, gonn have to deal with that shit right now !!! ……….. Fixed …

Ed just posted this update yesterday. Can you tell me if the fill probe is the same between the Lelyas and the Matador?

Lelyas, Veles, Matador R3 in .30 are assembled for US clients. We are working now with the delivery. I hope you will get them soon.

With the best regards

Hey thanks and yes my Lelya probe is one in the same !! My current Lelya is hands down my favorite gun or I would not have a $2000 scope on it 😳 with that said they are so so so worth the wait. I still think the only draw backs to them is they are usually tuned to 850ish and shoot great but a it slow for power and I think the grip and hand hold is awkward feeling at first but I have long gotten used to it now. I grab for it first 80% of the time, Edgun Short .22 about 15% and .22 cricket compact most of the rest of the time.

Guys, say whatever you want but not that Ed releases something without proper testing. He even put Matador in the refrigerator to check temperature influence. Just translate:
http://edgun.narod.ru/

Please be aware that he is not able to catch all issues all by himself. But he reacts on the feedback, learns from the community and improves his guns. R3M block evolution was an example. He really introduces new products slowly on the basis of customer opinion. Can’t you see that?

Yes we all see this and we also see the way how he does it, at least I see it and as you said the “R3M block evolution was an example” :fishinghole:

How does Ed rely on his new designs to be up to par with his previous quality vs the R3M series? Does he deliver 10-20 rifles to be put in the field and evaluated before mass producing? Or does he wait for the customer to provide feedback?

I remembering seeing someone post a picture that Ed had posted of an early version of the R3M sitting in the back of his car 1-2 years before he released the gun.

Ig720,

first sorry for being off topic but not much 2015 Lelya pictures to be shared….

Not losing hope, BUT!

We can all (well maybe not all) agree that the R3M was shocking to say the least. Let’s not go there and here me out.

The new Lelya design is a blind date! I’m the type to put my money in the hands of a PRO and not ask questions but like I stated earlier, the R3M raises questions.

I’m not Ed
I’m not a gun builder
I’m not a 1 man team
