45 shots!!!! Wow. 😯

Going to try a 75 gram hammer when it gets here, but i’m closing in on the bell curve. 😀 Too windy to shoot for groups, but i was hitting my 3″ target at 85 yards with regularity, though i was not really taking my time, and shooting off a bipod, no rear bag. What do you guys think?

Just spotted you using 21″ to my 24″ 😳

Holy cow 😯 The tp is 6.5mm out??!! Does it need to be this far out to engage the breech with a well(stock) ? I’m betting thats why you are snapping the stem…
I use a flat faced breech and 2mm on the tp is all I have ever needed(and more)

(Sucks about the valve mate, serious ballache 😥 )

We measure in inches on this side mate. 😀 .258 inches, i’ll convert it to mm in a bit to clarify.

Well it was set at .258. Just had a major failure. 😥 Second stem i’ve broken. I wonder if anyone else has had this problem? Both have broken in the threaded portion of the stem, which has a very thin wall thickness. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Have too go pick up the kids from school, may have to beat on them a little. 😡 What the hell could make it break? Nothing special here. ❓

Thanks Pul’
I only use a 50 gram hammer with my blod valve and I’m seeing higher numbers (940 through 980 and back down again) with the same fill of 2600psi?!
Once again, the powerwheel must be over compressing the spring. Whats the tp set at stow’? Mines about 2mm(0.078″)

What is stock talon hammer weight?

45 Grams for the Talon hammer.

65 Grams for the Condor 2 piece hammer.

Just figured out my tophat was moving around at some point in the second string. Damn. 👿

The more I try to understand these guns, the more confused I get. First shot string gives 17 shots from the 920’s before dropping into the 800’s.

The next shot string looks great. But I figured that as the pressure dropped, it would hit the 920′ and look similar the the first string. BUT— It hit the 920’s on the down hill side and dropped like a rock. Only a very few 920’s. I’m seeing the same kind of thing. It’s kicking my ass!

Very even string though! Looks good, and is the kind of fps I’m looking for.

I would love to try one of Sean’s valves, but can’t yet. Way too much catch up to do. 😥

What is stock talon hammer weight? Those numbers are all wrong with those fills for a blodvalve. Must be the hammer weight. You’ll have the same sort of string, just higher fps with a 2600 fill when you put 75 grams in there.. 😀
