25 caliber string
I shot a string with my Condor while shooting JSB KIngs at 100 yards.
I shot off the hood of my Ford Explorer with a Caldwell range bag and used my fist under the pistol grip.
I shot with and without the Airhog and POI did not change. This was noteworthy because I had just drilled and tapped 6 holes in the two bushings and centered them, prior to that POI would change as much as 5 inches.
Power wheel was maxed out and Top hat was at .070.
Starting PSI was at 3000 PSI I shot 32 shots and then my Chrony started showing low battery and I quit. Ending pressure was 2250 PSI. Groups were averaging 1.5 inches.

Here is a quick group I shot off the bi-pod, the wind was up and I did not try that hard, all was going great then that last shot hit the poa and stretched out the group to 1 in. Did not piss me off though cause before I was trying like hell and the best I got was a 1 1/8 inch group, with no wind, an all day frustration.

Hey, I was only passing info I read here someplace, and it worked for me.
I think barrel alignment is the issue here, cause I went out and just shot a 1/2 group on the bi-pod, with the Kodiaks at the same distance as yesterday, more testing tomarrow,but right now thanks Riffraff and I hope I do not end up taking that back really. Yesterday the best was 1 and 1/8 group and I was trying hard and today not even.
Nice group! Guess they like 850fps! That’s about 70fpe! Did you pay attention to the difference in kick between the two different speeds? Also this would be easier if you changed one thing at a time 😆 😆 😆 You should go back to the high speed shots to see if the barrel alignment was the issue.
So I changed hammers and the way I tighten the barrel, I also changed velocity to 850 FPS.
It is overcast and a little windy here today, so I did not benchrest at 100 yards. Instead I shot off the top of the 58 Mercedes with no bags, holding the rifle in my hands with hands resting on the rounded roof.
So Condor hammer and spacer, Powerwheel on 10/2, nothing scientific, just where it was when I sighted it in. Fill 3000 PSI one shot was close at 15 yards so I went and shot 5 shots at 31 yards.
I have to honestly say, it will do better than this, the group grew at the edges as I shot and the cross hairs were at those edges when the shots broke.
I had tried this two days ago, with the velocity at 980 I think it was, and a 105 grain hammer and the Condor spacer as a preload and the power wheel mid way or so, the group was about 1.5 inches.
Anyway this is the 5 shots, there is one sighter, the first one I fired after putting it together under the tin of pellets.
I do mine like a scope rings or lug nuts. Seems to get it nice and centered. Also maw I would stop cleaning the barrel. I would say 50 shots down the barrel will get it all situated.
Same as Riff. I snug up bottom ones, then snug the side ones, then really tighten the bottom ones and then just nib up the side ones. If the barrel is gonna be out a bit, best it be in the ‘up and down’ rather than the ‘side to side’

I take mine apart very often, I have never tightened in any particular order, and I have never had any consistancy and have been plagued with lateral flyers, and I suspect I have just learned something earth shattering.

Thanks will give er a try the last one I tightenned is the 1st one you tightenned, this may just be the trick indeed.
I tighten them in this order.
Barely snug up the bottom ones, just touching.
Then tighten up the bottom screw closest to the muzzle.
Then tighten the bottom screw closest to the trigger.
Now just snug up the side screws, just tight enough so they wont fall out.
This seems to work best for me, and nothing seems to move around.
If I overtighten the side screws, POI seems to drift about on me.

I have to say I share your frustration, I will have to order some Benji’s.
So far Kings are the best for me, they really seem to shoot well. I did not shoot today, it was nice weather but with a wind. And really it is hard to know how your doing in the wind, most of the time your guessing on how much to hold for it, unles you have a lot of flags, which I do not, just one.
I need to order some of Jerry’s slugs also.

Final comment this is not the kind of accuracy I’m used to and I’ve been wonderring about seqence in tightenning the barrel screws. Do you think it would cause bad groups or did I polish the barrel to much and it needs more shooting or do you think I should do somemore chrony shooting?
Last was I’m not sure how many shots ,but the gun was on top of the padding, steadying the gun just in front of the scope. Then I tried the bi-pod on top off the padding holding the gun tight normal hand position and it shot well. This is a 2 in. group, but most were good shots,
