Q:

30 cal FX Bullpup at AOA on Friday?

Beat the Russian boys to the punch maybe? There just might be a flood of quality multi-shot bullpups real soon (sorry leaving Evanix out of the quality choices) and several in .30 cal.

Performance numbers from the tester at AoA that sends out “test verified” $2000 rifles shooting a few hundred fps under spec?

Anyone curious why FX doesn’t have any performance numbers on their own rifles? 😐

2000$ ??? You guys are getting screwed. Bad! In this country, blessed with one of the world´s highest taxes, they go for a 1300$. You´d better off importing these yourself. Export outside EU means dropping the Swedish sales tax (25%) so the price before shipping would be under a grand.

Dear Sir Ville;

Would you be so kind to send us some links/websites with the best prices for FX in Sweden?

Thanks…

I was referring to a $2000 Daystate that was shooting under power.

I have no idea what the FX rifle sell for at AoA… But I can check!

Royale 500 in walnut is $1850, add $200 for a reg.

The Boss in walnut is $2200…

The Royale 500 FT model is $2350!

Looks like $2000 would be a deal for an FX actually… 😯

So one of the FX BP’s will be in 30 caliber? 😯

I know Steve @ WildWest Airguns and Peter from TGAG have been developing a 30 cal Cricket that will put out 100+FPE. I thought it was independent of the main Cricket factory and would only be a limited run to test the waters…

Interesting having yet another BP manufacturer in the mix!! :8:

I sure do love my EdGun and Cricket!!!

There´s definitely a .30 Bobcat. Atleast they make one and my quess is it´s made to satisfied the US customers. Those powerhungry beasts. Nevertheless – the .30 cal is every bit as ugly as the rest of the Cats …

Well that is the rumor. 🙂 Yes TGAG/Wild West is working on a .30 w/ ST barrel and KalibrGun is working on a .35 Cricket but it won’t be out until next year supposedly in the US. So many choices. For hunting I am looking for about 100 FPE.

Not sure on most of the guns which should be close to the long version equivalents. On the .30 the barrel is shorter so the BP may not even attain the Boss performance which has only 78 FPE when the Daystate Wolverine does 100 FPE. I suspect the .30 Matador will be the one to beat in BP power.

Someone announced on the KalibrGun forum that a .35 Cricket is coming (March 2014) that will be well over 100 FPE. I will believe it when I see it.

So it takes a 30 grain pellet.
It’s not like AoA is going to put a heavy pellet in there and up the power to see what it can do…

Then why is everyone asking for performance numbers if they are on the FX website?

That is the Royale link, I’m assuming that the BP is simply a restocked Royale? If I was introducing a product for sale I had been developing for six months i’d have it on my freaking website… And why no prices from AoA, I would guess they had to pay for the rifles they were shipped…? No set markup?

This whole FX BP thing is really, really strange from day one.

will be released until each model is spec.’ed out! Once they can document performance
they will publish the numbers and the prices.
Sooooo happy I made the deposit!!!!!

Has FX made an entirely new action for this BP? 😯

If I remove the buttstock from my USFT it still gets the same amount of shots it did before. If I put it in a bullpup stock it still gets the same amount of shots as it did… 😕 😕 😕

Yes they getting performance specs. Looking forward to that on the .30.

Looks like the shipment is in AZ>

AoA will need to be sure to test the rifles (without actually checking if they work properly or not) and remove all the magazines/single shot loaders before they are shipped…. 😳

Right on! The whole concept of Bullpup lost its meaning when the heavy, bulky and fugly Bob came to town … It shoots good though … That´s a thin comfort though – much like those blind dates when your buddy tries to convince you to hang along with the age old phrase that starts with : ” She´s nice and funny”. You know she´s going to be one ugly bastard …

Beluga!

quote Sir Ville:

Those Bob´s are so ugly they lost their will to live during the trip over the Atlantic. FX had to send another bunch – thus the delay !

It’s pretty messed up that there is a shipment of these airguns gonna be at aoa Friday there taking deposits but yet they tell us they don’t know anything about them other than basicly what’s floatin around the forums…. They don’t know what guns they’re getting in or how many. .. It would be nice if they would put out some Info.
