Q:

30 cal FX Bullpup at AOA on Friday?

Beat the Russian boys to the punch maybe? There just might be a flood of quality multi-shot bullpups real soon (sorry leaving Evanix out of the quality choices) and several in .30 cal.

Yeh … when i called and gave em my deposit I asked about the price, specs, eta… he really didnt tell me much more than there taking $500 deposits and that they had about 10-12 of them when i did mine. they should have them by the end of next week. Kind of a shot in the dark buying one but i hope its gonna be a sweet gun for stocking verious pest.

Which model did you put a deposit on and how much are you willing to pay for it since price is still an unknown? I can’t imagine it costing more than an FX 400 Royale Synthetic at $1,650. Then again, an Independence is $1,800. A .25 FX Indy would be great for hunting but if it’s price inbetween a Cricket and Edgun, it’s going to be hard to pick the one in the middle being the ugly sibling.

I am really curious how the .25 cal non indi will do

So it seems like a few people put down deposits but did AOA give you an idea of pricing? You would think they (AOA) would know how much they paid and what the markup/retail price would be?

I personally think this platform has a lot of potential specially the FX Indy with built in pump but the 28cc reservoir is tiny and the stocks are butt ugly. At least give it enough air for a full clip before repumping and offer a nicer wood stock. The Russian bullpups are way more attractive simply due to their stocks. These FXs better be sub $1,500 to compete.

You know what they say abut guys with super long rifles right? They are making up for being short in other areas! 😆 :2:

I guess I am too much of a entrenched traditional rifleman.

Traditional? Like the old 6′ long Kentucky muskets of the 1800’s?

Your rifles are so long you’d never be able to shoot them off hand.

Hmmmm, at 29″ to have an effective shroud and with all that length behind the reciver those guns must have a real, real short barrel

according to google 29.133 inches and 7.05 lbs

74 cm. (29″ in real units) 3.2 kg. (7.05 lbs.) Metric smetric. 😛

I actually don’t think the FX is to Ugly, but not quite a real bullpup right ? seems kinda long and big, more like an hybrid.

…how long are they BTW ?

I would wait for tested performance specs at least on a .30….
