Neither can i. As i’ve said numerous times the sane limit for an Airgun is at .25 cal. That’s only my opinion though and each to their own.
I get it sorta kinda but, Its just funny to me that people are trying to turn the BIG BORE thing into PEASHOOTERS. To me, its just as silly as turning a 45 cal pcp gun into a 25 cal. The term FULL BORE TRUE HUNTING GUN is funny when your only pushing 110 FPE at the muzzle.
People would try and make themselves feel better by saying that 100-110 FPE can kill at 50 yards but i say, “FOR 2000 bucks, WHY THE HELL DO YOU WANT TO “ATTEMPT” TO KILL WITH A BARE MINIMUM AMOUNT OF POWER”?
Its more of a small game, groundhog, jack rabbit/squirrel gun and thats about it IMHO! And for a lot less, you could use a plain jane airgun for that. JUST SAYin!!!
I with ya on that one buddy, I have yet to experiment with the 35cal JSBS but I have a 1-20″ twist .357 barrel here to build a custom PCP on at some stage so will do so soon.. It will be built to predominantly shoot 125gr BTHPs to about 900fps as I dont really have any need for a pellet lobbing 100-150 ftlbs short range PCP with mediocre accuracy.. I have big bore PCP pistols that can fit that niche.
I dont see what this pup can do that a .30 or even a .25cal cant do better?

There is a very valid point in this post. Sometimes I wonder about the direction of airguns. At what point do you just shoot a powder burner. I understand in some countries using a centerfire is not possible but really shooting hogs with 110 foot pound rifle? Most of the hogs I have taken have been with a 30-30 which is 1720-2000 foot pounds. Let’s be honest here, we all say we’re buying a hog gun in 357 but really most use these guns to crush pigeons, squirrels and raccoons. The .357 uses a ton of air, has a beechwood stock and rainbows a pellet under 800 feet per second. Am I missing something here?
I wonder what twist rate is in that barrel. 1-20 sure works well with JSBs like in my Sam Yang 357.

Im not sure but it seems they have change the twist rate 3 times already..
Do you think that has to do with twist rate???
I think it because these 9mm JSBs dont shoot well from the L/W barrels at velocities over 800fps, it seems to be a trend Im seeing amongst all the modders..
Not sure why these companies do this???
wonder how much power is left in it? why wouldn’t they design new breech that can really sling these things and leave room for more.

From what topgun-airguns has written it does not look like it with 110 fpe at muzzle would be around 780 fps. Now 900 fps would produce around 145 fpe at muzzle.
At that price they better be slinging them 357’s at 900 FPS or better…..
I like the new stock design but Beech? $2000 for a PCP and you get a beech stock? Un-acceptable.. 😥

Idk bout that ville I’m gonna have to kindly disagree . The .30 caliber with the right barrel (The st I had was a lazer) in something like a short edgun or p12 would really make me happy….
The cricket was just too blocky for me. Actually the P12 suits me quite nice. Got the .25 up and going this past weekend just doing a couple tweeks. That should keep me at bay for a little bit :biggrinn:
