Q:

A 22 cal. Vulcan barrel from inside

Sniperqty used an endoscope to explore the Vulcan barrel interior and posted these images in his Instagram account.

The top right a pellet head in the barrel. The top left the pellet skirt and the bottom left is the choke area inside the Vulcan barrel

A magnified choke area.

And a clip of the barrel interior. .

Oh really…..
for some reason, charm wears off, going over board with their praise for it!

🙄

Wow, I usually never have to point out sarcasm on this forum..
But for those of you who obviously didn’t get my post- the guns, the barrel makers, it doesn’t matter! It seems like the newest kid on the block for some reason is also believed to have the best of everything.. And then the charm wears off and everyone is back to their senses. I wasnt advocating the Vulcan at all.. I was making fun of those who were going over board with their praise for it!

Told you guys so ! Not the same barrels.

Sniperqty just published another clip comparing the barrel chocks of a Vulcan and a Cricket while holding a pellet.
The top one is the Vulcan.
It is obvious that the Vulcan is tighter since less light is emitted.

I agree with Ville. Cricket does in no way shoot as good as Vulcan without some serious attention to barrel. I took my 25 Vulcan out of box cleaned barrel. Polished it a bit and am shooting the dickens out of it with great accuracy. There is no comparison between the 25 cricket and Vulcan period. My 22 cricket is a very accurate shooter but spent a lot of time getting it there. Now at 50 yards they are neck and neck.

Do you have real-world evidence and results to actually prove that the Vulcan’s barrel is superior to all the others you stated especially against the barrels on the Crickets and Mutants which have the same CZ barrel that the Vulcan has?

But they don’t have “the same” barrels. Do your homework.

Sorry Ville, but personally, the Vulcan still has to prove itself that it is anymore accurate than the other bullpups and until I see champion shooters pit barrel against barrels in a smackdown. I’ve only seen groups posted by a small population of Vulcan owners, and they’re mainly from this forum. No homework necessary for this, only real-world results, solid testing, and non opinion-based. Even after this, I think one will be no more accurate than the others.

My comment was directed to your ” it’s the same barrel ” – which it ain’t.
I’ve owned several Crickets in various calibers so i’m more than qualified to answer to the burning question : Which one is more accurate : The Vulc or the The Bug ?
Once the Cricket is properly tuned and the barrel / crown carefully polished it’s a toss between those two – accuracy wise.
Out of the box the Bug looses.

Calm down  We would wait for proper result if someone has both guns cricket/vulcan and willing make a short accuracy test for us 😛

Bobcats?… Ehh, well.. Perhaps.. No..
Crickets?? .. Nahh, no way..
Vulcans! Yeah, yeah.. They got the best barrel! Most accurate too! 🙄

Go shove your head in a cow pie.

The difference between The Vulcan’s and Cricket’s barrel likely isn’t from the barrel maker but the machining for final fitment/crowning.

He got it exactly right ! Both brands have barrels from the same maker. The difference is in the finish. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLDhUyDx-8M
