A 22 cal. Vulcan barrel from inside
Sniperqty used an endoscope to explore the Vulcan barrel interior and posted these images in his Instagram account.

Ville, when I talked to Tony at Talon Tunes, where I bought mine, he told me the factory does NOT recommend polishing the barrels. I would sure think it would help though.
One caveat : the Vulc barrel can be polished too 😉
Ville I heard the same about Evgeny barrels… but I curious who first try to adapt vulcan barrel to the cricket…
It’s still too early to do a barrel upgrade. I would be surprised to find the Vulcan 22 out shoot my 22 cricket. Both out of the box the Vulcan would do it but not after lots of polishing of 22 cricket barrel. That said I guess proves Vulcan has better barrel but not worth the upgrade as they can be made very accurate. Most of the crickets that shoot fantastic were tuned by Ernest or had some extra work done to bring them to the level that Vulcan is just about our of the box.

Awny, so far I haven’t proven to myself that the Vulcan can out shoot my cricket. Will do more testing this week as I’m back from helping my daughter….

Evgeny has the barrels done to his specs. He doesn’t sell loose barrels – which is understandeable ..
All the new owners are happy with their guns out of the box!

When Vulcan has so superb a barrel why we do not buy it and change it in the cricket ? :biggrinn:
Sniperqty and Ville (both airgun experts and enthusiasts) were the first to praise the superior quality of the Vulcan and apparently what they have said several months ago is now confirmed daily by facts.
All the new owners are happy with their guns out of the box!

BS. Polish away. Did mine. Why would that hurt when done correctly. I quess Evgeny wants to keep all the Neophytes from ruining their barrels. If one knows how to do it right then polish away, i say.
