Q:

A Baby .177 Cricket is Born

I would like to thank Steve and the gang at WAGG for a safe delivery. 😆 I do have the cheek piece but forgot to pop it on for the first photos. Actual targets using both light and heavy JSBs were supplied and impressive along with shot string results. About 900 fps with the heavies and 955 fps with the lights. I was actually looking to tune it to exactly 900 fps with the heavies. Too cool.

You think he has more bullpups than Ernest? 😯

Is that your final statement ?

Seriously – i see you´re liking those Crickets. You must be the one here with the most Bullpups in your Cabinet. Óne could have it worse in life ::: :biggrinn:
You guys make me want to go out and shoot the Compact right now – and i haven´t even received yet.

 ………..I wish I had something longer to grab, but with that said, I do like my shortie bullpups :biggrinn:

Well you just honor the bullpup concept 😀

This is what being coherent means to me…. :thumb:

I heard the US was getting 99% of them coming out of the factory for the next few months. 😛 😆 😆 😆

OK. So it´s a fun little Gun, i suppose. Mine is soon due – we´re just waiting my friends .25 to arrive from KalibrGun so Hannu at Websales can send them both at the same time. I quess the AOA/WWAG shipment took every damn Gun KalibrGun could muster – coupled with that damned IWA – so they´re late with the delivery/making rifles to others in need . I´m not in “need” though so i don´t mind the waiting game- It comes when it´s due.

WWAG is sold out and awaiting more guns currently, crickets are selling like hot cakes in the US……..

Well, my friend, the EG/Cricket War is declared .. You may get 50% of them though – not 99%. Sorry !

POS TAPATALK !!!!!!

Cool. Thanks. I am real happy with the Cricket triggers once they get adjusted. I just dont see how folks can shoot accurately with over a pound pull and less is better. :winkn: polishing and tweaking the best.

What caliber is the ST barrel?

Really on the .177 pellets? I cant tell much difference from the .22s handling them. .25 wont have many full power shots. Maybe 30 like the std 30 cal matador. I have put 750 pellets through already. I turned the trigger down to 15 oz but will adjust it one more time at 1000 shots down to 12. It needs an oring under the 2nd stage screw like in Ernests video or it may back out. Its really a perfect sized little gun.

need to update that video, anyway you can back out that 2nd stage adj screw all the way out without removing pin or parts.

.22 ST barrel. AOA don’t have any .177 or .25 last time I check 2 weeks ago. they have .22 in stock. I got them used on the yellow—> got 2 barrel for the price of one new

That is why I set them all to 12oz.

quote sniperlabyo:

most of my tune trigger are 6 to 7 oz with a vary light 1st stage and they love it, on the matador can’t even get it that close without being unsafe.

I’m converting a compact and standard with a smooth twist barrel, the barrel shoots hotter/less cleaning and I can put a high polish on the smooth bore, so hopefully I get more shots per fill.

I find myself avoiding my guns over about 30″ max as well. The littles ones are just more comfortable and fun.

I got fat old stiff fingers that do not like small objects very well. It does shoot just as well as my 22 compact. Desire is more than half derived from wanting a short 25 I guess. Shot count does not matter that much for me. I shoot a lot of groundhogs snakes and muskrats at the marina. and a stubby 25 would be fun too. I may convert my 25 to long or compact and keep all three compacts, not sure, we will see what Ernest comes up with. One thing for sure I heavily favor the shortest of the guns and rarely grab for anything longer.

I just sent Ernest a note checking about a .25 conversion kit for mine, I am thus far not enjoying fumbling around with the tiny .177’s I also asked about estimating the # of good shots in the 25 caliber. Seems my 22 does everything it will just as well and better but I would like to have a stubby .25 so we’ll see. Might be better to shorten my .25 and just sell the 177, we’ll see.
